lamarqueisdead, the anatomy is still recognizable, so this interpretation is fine :)

Nope, plaese check your skins on black background, both of them have a problem with white outline.

Hey Angel, I seem to have discovered a glitch with a skin I tried to upload based on a lineart concept that I drew myself.
The image, when scanned and drawn over in my art program, was 1348x1952 (width/height) in pixels. In order to make it fit into the required size I had to scale it down to 213x332 pixels. The image itself is 300 DPI and a transparent .png file.
When I uploaded it, the preview image was distorted and blurry and there was a huge blank space next to the image in the preview window.
The issue did not affect my other skin based on my own lineart (the dragon design I had previously mentioned on this topic) and I thought it was a cropping issue because there was quite a bit of space on the edges of the image. Even cropping it didn't remove the glitch.
Is there any way to fix this or will I have to delete the skin myself and not try and submit it? Or will it fix itself if it is accepted?

It will look fine when approved. The space to the right appears because the image is less than 350 pixels wide and aligned to the left in the preview window. On the pet page it will be center aligned.

Thank you so much, Angel!

I have finished my first attempt at a custom skin and want to submit it, but as the rules state, it must be a PNG-24 file, but I'm not given the option for that...just PNG. I'm totally new at this so I may be missing something simple, but I've scoured these threads as well as google trying to figure out how to do it, and I'm just not getting it. I used GIMP to make the skin, and I also tried the free online Photoshop, but not getting the option for PNG-24 there either. What am I doing wrong?
Here's my skin...it's Tie-Dyed.

evestar, your skin is fine, it is PNG-24 already :) There are two most widespread color formats for PNG: 8-bit (PNG-8) which is essentially a substitute for GIF and has 256 colors, and 24-bit (PNG-24) which is true color and supports alpha channels for transparency.

Well I feel real silly now, haha! I figured it was something simple like that. Thanks for responding, Angel. I will submit it now, along with two others I made :)

Angel, vetra's link works fine for me so I'll paste the image here for you to see. Maybe it'll work this way so you can help them out with their question; from what I see of it the only major issue is that it isn't centered properly.

Sylviianel, thank you!
I apologize for a delayed reply, I was mobile only for the last week and couldn't check some of the image tech moments because of this.
Except vertical aligning, I'd suggest to fix the blurred lineart, especially tail and paws. It's not a major issue but will make the skin a lot easier to look at. Everything else is fine.

@Vetra- if you need any help re-working the lines to a less blurred version I would be happy to help. Send me a PM :D The anatomy is quite good actually. :) It will make a very nice skin.
