Astra, check the file format. PNG-8 and GIF support only 1 channel of transparency. You need to save your image as PNG-24.
Monues, yes, golem type creatures work fine for custom skins.

I am slightly embarrassed to ask, but how do I do that? I am new to making custom skins and have been using http://www.onlinephotoshopfree.net/ though I have resently downloaded gimp 2.

Astra, when you save the image, select "PNG (Transparent, full quality)" from the drop down option under "Format:" . This will hoepfully help. And I hope you're reading this and understood it. :)

When we create a base, do we have directly submit it without coloring(to approve the base) or we can use it anytime colored and edited?

Muffy, you don't need to submit the base, only the final image.

Angel, I was wondering why my last skin got rejected. :/ I can't seem to figure that out.

Why my skin was rejected? I checked it on many backgrounds, and it seemed OK. I can't see also other mancamens in it.

Please post the rejected skins in question here. I can't tell what is the problem without seeing the skin itself.

Ok, so my cockatrice skin, River Monster, previously got rejected. This is the skin:
I'm still wondering what was the matter with it.

Dobby, the image file itself is damaged. If you try opening it with any standalone image viewer, you will get an error that the file header is corrupted. Please resave it and resubmit.

Nemhain_PL, there are some stray strokes / dots above the crown area. Could you please get rid of them and resubmit the skin?

I have a question regarding regulations for custom interpretations of the creature designs.
Below is a design that I planned to use for a dragon custom skin; however, I was not sure if its rather loose interpretation of the site's dragon art would be acceptable. It has the wings, four limbs, tail, and horns of the site's dragons but it is much longer and thinner and has a thick beard, deerlike horns, and smaller, more finlike wings.
(The image has a white background for the sake of visibility on the greenish forum page; the original drawing is transparent. It will also be the regulation size if fully finished.)
I'm sorry, the signature that you are attempting to reach is not available. Please leave a message at the tone. *beep*
