uh trying to draw some pale/white manes to finish off my mane overgrowth collection. I'm also planning some cool lanterns, deviant-friendly wing apparel and will o the wisps (once I figure out how to draw fire and not make it look ugly)

Was hoping for some geisha stuff (parasols, kimonos? ribbons, etc) for unis and symurghs. And the red eyeshadow of course.

I was thinking of trying a sandy coral reef sort of background to go with the tails, with some waves shining from above, bunch of fish hiding around to find, but then remembered how annoying backgrounds are unless it's just simple unsatisfying blobs so uh, pass no thanks and double pass on wave details, lol. You should definitely give it a try though, what could go wrong? Defintelty won't lose your sanity! Nope defintelty not. Why are backgrounds so tempting to start yet so frustrating to complete
