Umm, quick question, this unicorn thingy is guarding the Snowflake and I've lost around, hmm, counting loses... 40 some times. If I leave this island and not collect the Snowflake, will I find it again?

From comments I saw in the very first etelia tundra, it does respawn.
In fact, a couple of people managed to obtain more than one snowflake with two different pets at the same time (but the extra one was removed from their inventory).
You can always keep trying with that pet and use another to hunt for an easier beast... Maybe you need a symurgh with acute eyesight and song of peace, if such a beast is available even.

And it was the most glorious crystalline ice ever seen.
One of my Cancermancers are stuck on a high level island, with three etellia. All of them are the ones that dodge and counter 99.9% of the time no matter what move you use as first attack. They always counter it. They can predict the future. We are all in great danger.

I think I got the most stubborn etelia Nameless.
I used 50 energy drinks on it and still doesn't want to breed.I don't know if I should stop or keep trying. -.-
