How did you find the snowflake so dang fast?! If I rub your face will I get good luck? I think thats how it works..

I had two etelia beed yesterday, and one today. I'm not going to breed my first ever white one, but I am going to try to breed number 5, which is blue.

Watch out if you try face rubbing... I may not bite, but you'd at least be gnawed gently XD

Cockatrice vs etelia is down to who can counter who first..both can one shot the other on first turn. Gets annoying sometimes xD

Gnarrr I've spent most of today weaving chainmaille, and now I'm behind. I'm probably going to be stuck with snowflakes all this year :(

This is my first time actively participating in a Tundra event so I'm going by ear. So is an Etelia finding it's birth place like exploring the Tundra and finding a pristine snowflake? I'm hoping I'm able to get two for my first time so I want to know to figure out if leveling it should be a top priority so I can get a bigger map and thus have a higher chance of finding its birthplace.

Nah it's random.

If it's your first rodeo, you have to find a snowflake on level ten. Use a couple of pets to find it.

Once it's hatched you have to wait thirty days for it to mature (uuurgh).

Then once it's mature you take it exploring until it decides to breed. This could be the first island you go on or the 100th. It's also random.

Once it breeds you get two second gen snowflakes and your pet vanishes. The cycle thus repeats.

Its genes turned out to be so nice that I'm a little hesitant to breed it. (Pretty sure I will, though. Still-- random chance, and no normal genes!)

Thanks arete :) I actually found my snowflake the first time I got to the level 10 Tundra so hopefully my luck continues with finding its birthplace.

Btw one last question --I think--. Is Etelia exploring for its birthplace essentially the same thing as exploring the Tundra with just a different entrance point? Aka will there be hibernating eggs to collect, pure snow, and other etelia to fight for crystalline ice?
