Shiku pulled the cub off of Thunder. He was careful not to let the cub see his face.

Nex cried out on pain as Thunder bit into her scruff. She saw Spark come up and the young male take Spark. Adrenaline surged through her."Put. her. DOWN!" She ripped out of Thunders grasp and pounced on the young male.

Spark squirmed around in Shiku's jaw for a bit, but stopped when the stabby feeling was unbearable.

Nex bit into the male lion. Then recognised his scent.

Thunder roared in outrage and prepared to pounce.

Shiku let out an "oomph" as he hit the ground. The cub flew out of his mouth as the lioness landed on him.

Spark squealed in fear for Nex, then she kicked Shiku as hard as she could. When the lion let go she hit the ground and tumbled, yowling in pain.

Shiku felt squished. He was on his stomach, on the ground, with a lioness on top of him. He couldn't think of an escape for this.

"Shiku?" Nex said, surprised. She hadn't recognised him under the blood.

Thunder took his chance and pounced on Nex, digging claws and fangs into her.

Shiku looked down, why did she have to say his name? He rolled, trying to get her off.

"Nex no!" Spark shouted in horror as she got up and raced over to Thunder and started clawing him "Stop you meanie!"

Shiku stood up, torn. Who to help? He grimly put his head down and charged into the fight. "Stop, you'll kill her!"

Thunder paused, startled."You traitor Shiku!" And just for fun, he bit down harder into Nex's shoulder.

Pain flared across Nex's shoulder and she (Do lions yowl?) yowled in pain.

Spark whimpered but started to clawn Thunder as hard as she could, "Stop it! Stop it or I'll tell my dad!"

Shiku braced himself, if he was a traitor to this lion, then he would be a traitor. Shiku rammed into Thunder as hard as he could.

Thunder was thrown off the young female. He got to his paws and pounced on Shiku.

Nex went limp, trying to gather the strength to help.
