Devin: *snarls* You say that again, I dare you!

Charlie: Anyway, I called him Ice because...that was his name before the bite. He used to be a white puppy, but turned red when he was bitten. I was the same color as I am now. He always hated his name. *shrugs* So he killed off Ice, and let Devin in(figuratively). It's a touchy subject, I brought it up only because I was angry.

Charlie whirled around, lashing claws at Devin's face. Devin ducked, swinging a paw at Charlie's neck, shoving him to the ground.

“Pinned by your neck. You'd never survive if I'd let them kill you,” Devin snarled.

“Who? Who'd kill me?" Charlie snarled back, trying to push up, but Devin forced him back down again.

“Fang. The pack. If I hadn't told them to stop, they would've killed you. Thank me.”

“You're lying!”

Devin growled, staring Charlie in the eyes. His gaze softened. “I'm not,” he whispered.

Devin snarled. “I was a pup! He was my brother! No one should kill a pup, especially family,” he growled, muttering the last part to himself.

Charlie dipped his head. “I'm sorry, Scarlett. Now if only Devin would let me up,” he snarled, snapping at Devin's paws.

Devin turned his attention back to Charlie, his eyes full of rage. Demonic hatred. He grinned creepily. “You'd better stop fidgeting, or one of my paws might call his buddies. You don't want to mess with my claws.”
