WHAT THIS CONTEST IS ABOUT:

So Over here I have a reference sheet of one of my characters:

(yes she has two pairs of horns)

For this art contest, you will be drawing her. I won't tell you what or how to draw, except to do your best. Although, I am curious what you will come up with. Yes, background would be nice, as it would be a main bonus to it....but I am curious how you will depict this character. So go ahead with your imagination and creativity on this. However, feel free to ask some questions if you really need to. If you need more art references of her, let me know. (but yes i'd like to see a fullbody...well, unless if you can pull off a really good one without fullbody...and no, tree/leaves or some BG foliage covering up a bit doesn't count as 'not fullbody' if you get what i mean...)

-Please don't post something half-done here, you may post WIPs though, but don't slap something rushed down and say 'here is my finished entry'

-Digital is preferred, though if you go with traditional media, please have a good camera or scanner, thanks

I think the submited references are enough for me to know how she looks like. BUT how exactly does the tongue appear? There seems to be something with a pattern, is it striped or spotted? The headshot does not have this applied.

The computer mouse could not stop me!
I gave her a sort of scraggly look since she is skinny and vicious looking.
The tongue was lot of fun to make, same with then tendrils.

Edit: Now that I posted it I see so many lil mistakes I missed on my final sweep xD.

Okay, so, I'll say this at the start - I am not very artistically inclined. I get ideas in my head but I don't have the ability or skill to bring them into reality. That being said, I wanted to try making a chibi version of your OC. I drew it by hand and the actual version is a lot better (relatively speaking) than the one here but, since my camera refused to get a good picture of it, I had to try drawing over the lines digitally and I can not do digital art. So yeah... might as well show it off even though it's a bit of a fail XD Didn't put much into the coloring since the lineart wasn't worth the effort.

If anyone is capable of actually executing this then by all means take my idea and make it work!

Not much of an artist myself, but in case I have a sudden stroke of genius--how big is this character, exactly? Is she, say, wolf-sized, mountain-sized, or is she so big she doesn't fit on the physical plane of existence?

well, she's shapeshifting ancient  least story wise, so I'd say she would be able to change sizes...

thiugh in in this case, as it being her favorite preferred form....i'd say she would be 'dire wolf' height
