He stared at firefly, surprised.

he was considering shouting at her, screaming, hurting her like she had hurt him.

but he didn't. 

'Hi firefly..' He said softly. His head still hurt where she had collided with him.

'please don't run away. I'm not that horrible' he said 'am I?'

at first she just stared blankly. her mind was still bleeding with the insults... the voices. she knew who. who? the voices. the calling. what to do? make it stop? just stop being stupid... a whisper in her thoughts. what do you think i've been trying to do! her mind said. STUPID FIREFLY CANT FIGURE IT OUT! HEHEHAHAHEHE! Her head was exploding. 

she then noticed dusk and his question. his question... it made her question herself. she wasn't that horrible? as stupid as they say... as she says.... 'no.' she said half to herself. 'no.' she repeated.

Two little wolfs! Caligo licked his lips. maybe this night wasn't so rotten after all. all it would take was a bite. maybe they could tell him what happened to Hel. If he would bring them back, maybe Vanum wouldn't be so angry anymore. He slowely sneaked closer, using the dark clouds as cover

' ok! ' he said cheerily, all the sadness gone from his face. 'im still trying to find someone to play nightwolf hornet star chaser battles.... Would you want to play it with me?' He asked, a silly grin on his face.

he strutted off into the night sky 'come follow!' He told firefly.

*caligo whyyyyy?*

firefly was trying to follow. she had a horrible feeling in her tummy. she always had this when she felt she let her mother down. turns out habits like this don't leave you when you die. niether do the voices. you think the insane little oddball of the pack would have peace when her death gave. STUPID FIREFLY. she said again. why couldn't she just love her? why couldn't she except the fact that she wasn't perfect. "dont hate me!' she wanted to scream. but she didn't want to hurt her bubbly little friend. just then she heard a noise. a scary noise. one that wasn't in her thoughts.

nova wandered the sky, bored. 

'Where is firefly? She thought, she hadn't seen her till she ran off.

oh well.

she carried on shambling and being bored.

Dusk continued being jolly and marching up in the sky.

he heard a strange noise.

'maybe it's my tummy rumbling! I haven't eaten in a while' he said to himself, still happy.

The two cubs didn't seem to have noticed him yet. he hoped. he took a second to congratulate himself for his superior sneaking skills. he just had to get a little closer. he scurried to the next big cloug. then he counted to three... and struck!

@everybody Oh, and something about roleplay fighting (don't know how familiar you are with this) I tell you I strike, you tell me wether or not you're hit and vice versa

Dusk felt sharp teeth on his fur. ' ow!' He said and fell back. Whining to himself and cradling his leg.

firefly stared in disbelief. what was that? she thought. I KNOW WHAT IT IS, DUSK KNOWS WHAT IT IS! WHY, YOUR JUST STUPID! the familure voice cackled. she backed away. she was frightened and cold. 'd-dusk?' she said shakily. just then she saw the glowing eyes in the clouds. she sighed one word. 'stupid firefly'

One down, one to go! Caligo thought, grinning like a crazy person. The second nightwolf looked a lot more troubled than the first and Caligo cocked his head while he tried to fixate her eyes. his grin turned into a baring of white, glistering teeth while a snarl formed in his chest. 'hello there, puppies' He said. Then he jumped for firefly

firefly shut her eyes. she was ready for the bite. she wondered if she would miss being anightwolf once bitten. stupid firefly.. STUPID FIREFLY! GET YOURSELF KILLED WON'T YOU! WE WON'T MISS YOU WHEN YOU BECOME ONE OF THEM! STUPID FIREFLY! "STUPID FIREFLY!' hang on, she thought. that didn't come from her mind. just then lightning bug hurled herself at the darkwolf

Where did she come from? Caligo thought in a panic as a fully grown nightwolf hurled herself at him. He hadn't seen her anywhere. He cursed his senses and his luck and his alpha and Hel in front of everthing else as he tried to evade the attack. It caught him mid-jump and while he could prevent the teeth of the wolf from penetrating his skin, the impact of the collision made him fly backwards, where he landed on his back. He came back on his feet quickly. He wouldn't stay here and fight a whole pack of those cowardly mutts, but maybe he could snatch the chubby one. He ran for dusk and snapped at his neckpelt, so he could carry him away

Dusk struggled hopelessly, because the pain coursing through his body was unbearable.

his dim puppy senses perked up. He was becoming a dark dog.

coarse fur was now covering his. 

'Nooooooooo!' He screamed and reached his paw out, hoping someone would heroically save him, but no one came.
