firefly tucked her tail between her legs. she looked from hornet, to her mother, then back. 'n-n-nothing... nothing e-everything's f-fine.' she studdered and ran off to find her mother.

"STUPID firefly! SILLY firefly! WHY didn't you tell hornet! why??!!!' she thought to herself.

((thank you loki110, deep down she just wants to be a good mother. i think being dead might have affected her trust problems. and not in a good way. either that or she's just evil!))

Dusk ran in circles around dawn 'Isn't it amazing!!! Gods!!! Suspense!!! Battles!!! I CANT TAKE IT!' He shouted.

'you are listening right dawn???? Right right right??? Cause if your not then I'm star chaser the God and your hornet the tough guy and we'll battle!!!!!!!!!!!! Please!!!!!'

he ran around in circles again and then mimed having powerful blasts of fire coming from the stars on his glossy black coat By making his paws imitate explosions.

firefly watched the pups play from a distance. a storm of asteroids bumbing and bruising her sking. a small golden tear fell down her muzzle. she never had friends. her mother wouldn't let her. she said they're playing was too rough. and that they would bully and hurt her. she hid behind nova so her mother didn't see her secretly watching the match. why weren't they starting yet? whats the problem? should she tell nova? or hornet? or poor starchaser? she believed in him. mother would tell her that believe is a death sentance for the stupid. firefly sighed. am i stupid? she thought. maybe thats why nobody will play with me...

Dusk bounced around dawn till he realised she wasnt listening.

snice he was too shy to set off and talk to a great hero like hornet or starchase, and lightning bug scared him, he tumbled up to nova, the nice old nightwolf. 

Then he saw a small movement of blacky grey green fur.

he moved behind nova and saw a pup. Lightning bug's

he always wondered why she never came over to play with him and dawn. Probably she was shy or lightning bug was too high standard to let her play with them.

' Hello.... Flying fire? Fireflight? FIREFLY! Oh yeah! Want to come play with me? I want to play heroic hero night wolves but dawn is too busy!'

He looked expectantly at firefly.

Hornet looked at firefly running away. Was she scared of him? maybe it was the missing eye. or his generally grimm face. He sighed again.

'Did you say something, Nova?' he asked. Then he looked upon the playing cubs. if starchaser had even half the energy those little ones had, he would be in seriouse trouble, he thought smiling internally, while the facade of his face still showed a mix of anger, worry and resignation.

OC @kingswolven Hey there :-) be careful not to play characters that aren't yours. while it's fine to say Hornet looked worried, since I said he was, you can't say that starchaser has hatred for lightningbug in his eyes, since you don't know that. It's jennas character and maybe she wants to take it in another direction.

But I DID have something to say! , speak up nova! She thought to herself

firefly jumped in a startled fashion. 'wh-what do you w-want from me!' she cried  at the other pup. STUPID FIREFLY STUPID FIREFLY CANT BE NORMAL LIKE OTHER PUPS! CANT BE NORMAL! the voices in her head screamed. 'LEAVE ME ALONE!' she begged. what would mother think if she heard her pup was screaming in public? stupid firefly. she backed away. suddenly she saw the kind face of hornit. damn. now she had to talk. NORMAL PUPS TALK, HAHAHAHAHAHA! the voices boomed. 'h-hello.' she said. 'shouldn't y-you be fighting?' she asked. HAHAHA! YOU CANT EVEN SPEAK PROPERLY! STUPID FIREFLY, STUPID FIREFLY, STUPID FIREFLY, STUPID!!

Dusk gave her a sad look and moped away.

'no one will play it with me!' He sobbed ' now even a shy wolf is so disgusted with me that she had the courage to shout at me!'

he took drawing on an asteroid With one claw

he drew (very badly) starchaser blasting a dark dog with awesome star powers.

he felt happy for a second but then he erupted into sobbing again.

Hornet looked at firefly. She was so small...

'the fighting hasn't started yet. are you worried because of that? nothing bad is going to happen. Nova will see to that. Isn't that right, Nova?' he asked the old wolf and bumped with his shoulder into her flank softly.

'The fighting will start when starchaser is ready. you don't have to watch if you don't want to.'

' no, no this old dog has some life left! I'm the referee! What's the use of a referee that isn't there?' She said

' the only thing worrying me is the fighting in general. I mean ... '

She stuttered.  she choked back on the voice telling her not to speak up.

'isnt there another way? I mean, if this carries out.. I KNOW there will be more! I have an OLD NIGHTWOLF HUNCH!' She said

firefly could feel the screams banging off her skull. WHY ARE YOU EMBARASSING ME FIREFLY! YOU SHOULDN'T BE HERE! DON'T YOU LISTEN! STUPID FIREFLY! STUPID FIREFLY! CAN'T DO ANYTHING RIGHT?!  WHAT DID I TELL YOU! YOU WENT AHEAD AND GOT YOURSELF FOUND. YOU WILL BE PUNISHED! I WILL SEE TO IT!

Firefly pressed her paws against her hears. a look of pain on her face. 'i'm sorry, i'm sorry mother!' she wailed. she looked back at hornet and nova with teary eyes before running as far as possible. i should have told them... she thought before being bombarded bye the screams IF YOU TELL STUPID STUPID FIREFLY! IF YOU TELL......                                                                  she ran screaming. 'make it stop! i won't tell mother! i won't tell!'

lightning wondered around. she spotted dusk crying. "WHY I NEVER! pull yourself together!' she then looked at what he had drawn. the pup obviously liked this ... drawing? if you could call it that. 'what a violent picture!' she scoffed. before dusk realised what was happening, lightning bug had stepped on his creation. leaving nothing but blobs of dust. 'thats more like it. stupid pups. talking about stupid, where was firefly?

Dusk began bawling his eyes out, batting his paws uselessly on lightning bugs forelegs.

he wished he was brave like hornet! Or star chaser!

'whyyyyyyyy!!!!' He screamed, still trying to shove lightning bug away, with no success.

he rubbed his eyes and began thinking: I SHOULD JUST GO! EVERYONE HATES ME! It's not FAAAAIRR!!!

but he imagined he was hornet, with only one eye, but had enough bravery as if he had three! Wait a minute that's weird, he thought to himself.

he scampered away from lightning bug, still crying.

lightning bug was growing impatient. 'where is that stupid pup!' she barked. she marched up to nova and hornet. she sneered at them both in disgust. 'HAVE YOU SEEN FIREFLY! UGH STUPID FIREFLY! WHY CAN'T SHE BE NORMAL!' she barked. 

not so far away, firefly was running blindly through space. she smashed into dusk. STUPID FIREFLY. YOU COULD HAVE GOTTEN HURT STUPID STUPID STUPID STUPID, the calls ran through her brain like a thunderstorm. she gazed blankly at dusk.

'Hold that thought' firefly (sorry) Hornet sighed, for the third time this evening.

'Lightning bug!' he barked at the other wolf. 'What are you doing? stop making the children cry. You're behaving like a one year old, bullying everyone who's weaker than you. you should be ashamed of yourself.'

Hornet growled deeply. Lighningbugs behavior really started to annoy him.

meanwhile in another part of the nightsky
Caligo chewed on the bone that was the last rest of his supper.  he had been walking for a while now, he deserved this break.At least that was what he was telling himself. This was nightwolf terretory, and while he couldn't wait to crush those arrogant, useless fools, he'd rather not do it alone. He was not here to engage, he was just watching them... if he could find them

A few nights ago they had sent Hel to scout the area, but he hadn't come back yet. That idiot might have stumbled over his own feet and broken his neck Caligo thought grimmly. and now he was here to find him. Why always him? Couldn't anyone else get the fool back? he knew the answer. Vanum, his alpha di't like him very much, which might be related to the fact that Caligo was gunning for his position for a while now. the wound on his ear still hurt from their last confrontation and now he was sent on this useless suicide mission. Hel was probably dead. or he would be when Caligo found him for making him come all the way here.

all of a sudden he heard screaming and the sound of tiny paws running across the nightsky. A nightwolf whelp all by itself. well, would you look at that. He grinned wide, teeth showing as he dropped the bone and started persuing his new prey.
