back at the arena,

"ummm-yes,i will fight."said starchaser,stepping into the arena to wait for hornet.just then,he got a strange feeling that instantly told him what was happenig."that pup,dusk!he is becuming a dark dog!"he howled in fright.

'What?!' Hornet barked. his ears stood up sharp, and his fur bristeled up. 'Where? what happened? We're under attack!' he shouted to the other wolves. 'Take the kids to the den. every military personel to me! We're gonna hunt dark dogs!' Then he looked at starchaser. 'you can feel him? where is he? are we too late? what can we do?'

Hornet breathed deeply. he was the vice leader of the military. he should not be in panic. he closed his eye, opened it again, and a cold sensation extiguished all his other feelings. rationality needed to be what drove him at that instant. 'If you know where they are, we follow you. otherwise we use a hunting pattern. Dusk ran of in that direction.'

@jennahuman since kingswolven plays Dusk she's the one to tell me wether or not I grabbed her :-)

lightning bug cooed over her pup. 'are you alright?' we whispered fondly. firefly was in a state of peacefulness. all the voices were silent. 'yes  mummy..' she squeeked. 'you saved me, but the dark dog has dusk!' 

Caligo darted away while the nightwolf was distracted with the other puppie. His tail was tugged, which he hated. stupid tail, always doing what he wanted. He wasn't afraid. He just wasn't stupid. He wouldn't stay here and wait for more of them to come. And one cub would be enough. Chubby could tell them what happened to Hel, which would mean his mission was a sucess. He just hat to reach dark dog territory, find his pack. the wolves wouldn't dare follow him there, woud they? It shouldn't be too far now.

Lightning bug tugged hornets tail. She had put firefly safely in the pup cave and was now ready to fight dark dog but, even though she wasn't in the military 

'im coming with you.' she said. 'whether you like it or not!"

Hornet wanted to snap at her about her bad conscience. She was the reason, Dusk had run away. she was also probably responsible for fireflys to wander away from the pack. But he kept his cool fascade. think logical.

'No.' he said dryly 'we don't know how big the attack is. it could be just a distraction what if they come for the rest of the pups? we need wolfs here that can protect them.'

Caligo couldn't believe his luck. The nightwolf had just taken the one puppie and ran away. Granted, she would probably alert the pack, but with a bit of luck he was long gone before they could mobilize.

Poor chubby, though. Well, they were going to take care of him, of course. he was one of them now. but it did have to sting that the nightwolves would let Caligo run away with him. He snorted derogatoryly. Those wolves. Always thinking they were something better but then let their enemies flee with their young.

Caligos breath became heavier with every step. he couldn't stop here, not as long as he still was in nightwolf territory. He was thirsty and his neck and jaws hurt from the small creature he had to carry. He thought of stoping, just for a moment... then he shook his head, not too fast so he wouldn't hurt Chubby, and doubled his pace. It couldn't be far...

Lightning bugs face was stuck on a pernmenant sneer. "I most certainly will not! Half the pack don't even know what's going on! Probably think we are on a nice field trip! The pups are FINE! Let me come or I will do something WRECKLESS and STUPID!!" STUPID! STUPID FIREFLY!! Came the booming voices again. firefly wanted her mommy back. Wanted the angry screams to go for ounce! YOU DUMB LITTLE PUP! EVEN DUSK IS SMARTER AND BRAVER THAN YOU!!!! She sat up right. it was decide. She was going to win her mummies love. She was going to rescue dusk or die trying

"i can feel it,it must be part f being a god..."said starchaser"i think...they are almost out of our territory,we must hury.solerflair,hornet,orion,see if you can find them before they reach dark dog territory.volcan and the rest of the military,run ahad and destract the other dark dogs from its pack.father,go with the military.the rest of you,that incloods you,lighning bug!-stay here and guard firefly,litle dipper,dawn,and whatever other pups we have.im going to lead the military alongside volcan.hury,dusk is already a darkdog!we must save him!"

'alright' hornet said. 'let's get going!'

he didn't like that starchaser just took over his whole opperation, but he was a god after all. there was no time to complain and at least it was a plan.

maybe we should wait with the conclusion of this plotpoint untill kingswolven is back maybe she wants Dusk to be a dark dog (join us, joooooiiiiiiin uuuuuuusssss >:-) )

@swanwithanose no,not realy.they just start hating the nightwolfs insted of the dark dogs,but thats an obvious fact,cus wy wuld they hate them if they ar one of them?
