Soo.. i wanna breed a deviant dragon.. but i think i should learn a little more about them.. anyone care to fill me in on the subject?

Ight, its pretty easy once you know what to do. For the easiest of success, both parents need to have both recessive and dominant copy of the same color and or pattern.

Spotted    Spotted

White        White

Random example there. You will need to find a dragon like that only with whatever color/pattern you are wanting to have a deviant of. I will give you the links of the parents of who are currently trying to produce deviants, so you know what to look for.

With these two, I am going for spotted deviant. As you will see, they have two copies of the spotted gene.

Deviants are produced 1 of 10 times when the child is born with two copies as well. So having the parents having two copies makes it much easier for the child to be deviant.

I am horrible at explaining but hopefully it helped atleast somewhat.

 Edit: Take a look at my stables, the tab labeled unorthodox. I have my deviants there. You can look at their parents to get a good idea of what you will need.

ok so uhm
I found this pet, so..  i think he's an homozyg, right? Do i need to look for another pet EXACTLY yellow yellow or another homozyg like red / red ? does it has to be exactly the same?

It needs to be another pet that is also yellow/yellow or diluted/diluted for maximal chance of deviants.
