I would also like to see a canine, perhaps a werewolf (quad?) or a fictional wolf species. It might also be ncie to see a basilisk pet.
Especially if it was based on the old mythology: a cockrels egg hatched under a toad, yeilding a snake with a cocks comb, with the ability to kill any who look it directly in the eye.

I'd love a canine. It seems like the obvious choice with the basic groups we have now. A cerberus would be awesome. I think the issue with sea creatures could be resolved by having them explore a different map. Our land creatures explore islands with buildings on them, so perhaps a sea creture could explore a shipwreck? Or a sunken island? Just a thought.

We don't have any swimming creatures yet, so maybe some sort of fish or leviathan creature?

A kappa or a kelpie, a snakelike Wyvern, a parrot-like phoenix.
I wouldn't mind some sort of "nemean lion", but we already have the puma, and I really want the warg/direwolf to be a massive maned predator.
