Manticores would be nice, and a canine of some sort, though I lean more toward the grim than cerebus. Some sort of water based creature would be nice too, so long as it wasn't humanoid (not too fond of the idea of seeing mermaids and the like). Also, I like the white swan type griffin monsters on the islands and would love to have those available as pets.

It's probably not, but I really want a fish something or other. Something marine-life. :D Don't even care what, I'll ditch all the things for an awesome marine-life critter. <3

I'd personally love a cerberus. Though I always love aquatic creatures. I love even more those creatures that are proportioned like land animals, but otherwise look aquatic (I'll see if I can sketch something up to explain). Also, sharks. I love sharks.

Aquatics would be really weird though, trying to explain how they're exploring the islands o.o But something like a kelpie or a hippocampus would be so interesting!

How about something semi-aquatic like a saltwater crocodile or an alligator? Something that lives in both areas would be able to explore the islands without any real need of an explanation for how they are able to do it. Or maybe a snake, since those can swim but are mainly land based.

Something like a Lock Ness monster perhaps? Although I think a turtle like creature would be really awesome. Turtles are just cool and they can traverse both land and water.

I would love to see direwolves but they are not really mythical. Any canine would be awesome.

I think a wolf type creature would be perfect. Nice counter balance to the pumas. Dire wolf as someone suggested I think would be awesome!
For aquatic I think someone else mentioned a kelpi. That could be very neat and a dark side to the unicorn/equine spectrum. :)
