"It is rare, and often a good sign," she said with a nod, "In the past coulple hours, I have seen a bond I haven't seen in such a long time betwen them. They will make great friends for each other. They respect each other, and their trust is well placed. I fell that if Nathan ever thought of it as anything less than a companion, there would be something wrong with him. There's too much respect between them for that to happen."

"I agree.  I wish the two the best of luck in learning and I hope the two stay the best of friends for the years to come." she said with a smile.  "Well, I should probably go help Ahnah research for our journey.  I hope the rest of yourday is great." she said as she stood.  "Thank you for your hispitality, Catherine." 

"It's been nice having you here. I wish the best to you and Ahnah on you journey," she said, wiping her hands before waving, "We hope to see you again some day."

"I'll try to visit before I leave.  See you all." she said with a smile and a wave before exiting.  She picked up her shoes and began to walk rowards Ahnah's aura.

Sitting at a table just outside the inn, Ahnah was reading on of the books she had found. "Ah, there you are. I've got a few books that might help with choosing a direction to head in," she said, gesturing to the pile of books, "We can start in on the one Shadowbinder gave you now though. It might have some information we need."

"Okay." she said.  She then made the book appear.  She then sat next to Ahnah and opened it to the first page.

On the first page was a circle devided into eleven different sections, each with a unique color to is. Below the circle  was a list  of each elemental spirit's name and a page nmber beside each. "Which one do you think we should start with," Ahnah asked, reading over the names.

"I think we should go in order.  Maybe we can go from the first to the last that way.  We know the Arcanist will be the hardest though.  Either that or find out where they are all located first and then go from there." she offered.

"OK, then the first is the Icewarden, spirit of ice and all that is cold. His original home was in a pklace now called The Fortress of Ends. What remains of the fortress are towering pillars of hallowed out ice situated in the far north where only the hardiest and dangerous creatures live," Ahnah read outloud, "Out of the eleven spirits, the Icewarden is the only one to retain the dragon flight he had assembled long ago, and the only one to still have his mortal body, though it is frozen through."

"Does should dangerous...  How close are we to him?" she asked.

"He would be the closest, but most dangerous to get to. He would be several miles north or my home village, and from here only a few miles more. I will say this, it gets really cold between here and there, cold enough that snow never melts," she warned, turning the page to show a picture of a land covered in ice and snow, "I'm really not wanting to go that way since we'll have to stop by my old home, but it has to be done eventually as one of the runes we're looking for is there."

Would you rather do that one first or last then?" she asked.  "We culd always go around the village if we have to." 

"We might as well get it done first and get it out of the way. We'll need to go into the village because they guard one of the elemental runes we need," she said, putting book mark in the book before closing it, "While I might not want to go, it would be better to get it over with and not have to worry about it."

"I'll be there with you, amd I'll make sure mothing happens to you while we're there." she said, placing a hand on her shoulder.

"I'm not worried about something happening.I'm worried they will reject me upon spotting me. I know they wont want to let me back in, but it i still painful to see one's former friends reject them," she said, squeezing Goldenscale's hand, "What I worry about most though is how my parents will react to me returning."
