"Hopefully she will begin to trust you all again.." she said with a nod.  "I hope she let's Nathan become a Keeper.  He looks promising.")

"That he does. He's a kind soul, so we wont have to worry too much about him  turning out like Tyler. We'll still need to show him the ropes, but that will be simple enough for him to pick up on," Kial said, taking out a small coin and flipping it a few times to occupy himself, "Well, it seems we might be here a while. I don't see any reason for you to stay other than to chat. If you want, you can go mingle with the throdama or do wahtever it is you wish."

"I want to go mingle.  This is the first time I've seen Thordama, so I want to try and learn as much as I can from them." she said with a purr.  "I shall see you all later then." she said before running off to find her friend.  She soon found him and gently pounced on his back before jumping back off.  "I'm back." she said happily.

"I see that," he said happilly once he regained his ballance. "So, where were we," he asked, settling back on the ground, "I believe it had seomthing to do with love or something like that."

"Oh yeah.  I asked you if your kind could love freely and you said that only workers were fertile and that you were a scout.  I don't know if anything came after that though..." she explained.

"Oh, yes. The workers are the only ones who can produce offspring, but that is part of their position. There is love among the other kinds like myself or defenders.The only difference is we ca't produce eggs like workers can," he said, his antennae perking up, "Relationships between non-workers tend to last longer due to this. There's less for us to worry about."

"Oh.  What do you mean, last longer?  Doesn't it all vary?" she asked, confused.

"What I mean is that we tend to stay together more. Less fights and arguments, that kind of thing. Without eggs to tend to and larva to look after, we tend to not get as frustrated with each other," he explained, "We tend to help each other more because of this."

"Oh.  That sounds complicated.  Do you love another?" she asked curiously.  "You don't have to answer the questin.  I'm probably prying too much anyways..." she said quickly.  /that was rude to ask..../ she scolded herself.

"No, it's fine. That's a common question, especially from those of different species. It's hard for other species to detect the pheramone we use to mark each other. To answer your question though, yes I do. We've been together for the better part of this year," he said, standing up to stretch, "She's a harvester so she's out collecting vital supplies for the colony right now. She's mostly after laminaria and cotton to replenish our first aid supply."

"Ooh, I know where to find a large patch of cotton!  I might know where to find some laminiara, but I'm not sure... Want me to show you where some are?" she said happily.  

"No, that's fine. It isn't my job to gather materials. I don't have the raw strength to carry the supplies. I also don't have the right limbs and exoskelleton for the job. I'm built for speed and mobility," he said, sitting back down, "We can go look though if you want."

"I'm not really the one to ask that. The leader of the hive or Kial would be able to give you a better answer. I just report what I find and the harvesters are sent out to the resources we need with defenders to protect them," he said, standing up to fallow Goldenscale, "As I said earlier, my job is to scout oout the area, reporting whatever useful information I gather."

"Oh, okay then.  Everything you need should be in the surrounding area though..." she said with a smile.  She then lead him to the area.  There was a cotton field and a laminiara field close to each other.  "I grew them like this to make it more convenient." she said, shrugging.
