"It amazes me that such things have happened, even though she has been at the cave she calls home for only a few weeks.  She has never been away from the forest, so yesterday was a first.  I hope she doesn't forget the life she has seen here, evem though she will be gone for a time afterwards."

"It will be interesting to see what Kyne will do when she awakens.  This must not be an easy task that Ahnah and Goldenscale are doing, with the knowledge that the Arcanist hasn't been easy to find." Moonlight said.

"I feel she wont be forgeting the cave any time soon. She has a family that cares about her, and siblings wholook forward to seeing her again. She has two children who wish her well as well. The crystals she carries with her have links to those she cares about so she can speak with them at any time," Miru said, "She may have a grand quest ahead of here, but family will only be forgotten when one has truly lost themself."

"It may not be an easy task, but Kyne is the only one who can give Goldenscale what she seeks. Last I heard from the Arcanist, he was leaving this plane of existence till nature could be brought to appreciate his element once more. That was before the last dragon campaign, and no one has heard or seen him since," Shadowbinder said, parts of her shadow forming into a reinactment of the event, "Kyne will likely be greatfull. She will need to recover first, but she will be ready for the coming battle."

"Um.. Ms. Moonlight," Nathan said quietly, carefully stepping up to Moonlight, the magic from his ring fading as he got close and his true self becoming slightly visible.

"I would agree with you on that.  Now that I think about it, everything she has ever known resides here in the forest, including the very flower that keeps her alive.  But there is a possibility that she might loose herself during the journey.  Because she is now exploring who she is, she questions herself all the time and she ends up in turmoil.  I just hope she remains as carefree as she travels as she does now." Konoki said with a sigh.

"There is a battle that awaits her awakening?" Moonlight asked.  Whn she heard the child speak, she turned towards him  "Yes, dear child?"

"She has Ahnah to remind her of where she came from. Ahnah is different than those around here, but she has made a home here that she calls her only home," Miru said, taking a single seed and planting it, "Ahnah will be there to remind her who she is."

"I will continue this after the young one has spoken," Shadowbinder said, stepping over to watch Goldenscale.

"I don't know if you can help, but d you know anything about my father? Mom says he was a guardian of a sacred jungle where nature spirits go to rest and reform," Nathan said, keeping his head down, "I just want to know if he's still alive. if he is, I can hope to see him one day."

"That is true, Ahnah will be there for her.  Sometimes I forget she is different and I just see her as a childish dragon.  I wish them luck on their journey." he said with a chuckle.  "That seed will grow to be very healthy.  The forest here is taken care of very well by her."

Moonlight sighed and snaked her head down so that she could look at the child better.  "Child, I watch over most creatures during my days and I cannot single out one particular being to observe.  It is also hard fo me to distinguish one individual among many others, but if you tell me more about him I will do my best to search for him." she said quietly.

"I know it will, but I plant it not for its sake, but because of a promise. I had part in a decision that has harmed nature, and for that I must plant something that will help repair that damage," Miru said, turning back human to better handle the seed, "Nature is too valuable to let one bad decision to slip by uncompensated for."

"That's all I really know about him other than him having a deep scar over his right eye and ear. All I have to offer that might help is my true appearance," Nathan said, looking up slightly before removing his ring and letting the magic completely fade, "This is my only guess as to what he looks like."

"The world does have much more violence in it than many people realize.  But Nature is forgiving of those who realize their mistakes, like you for instance." Kooki said with a smile.

"I will try my best to locate your father and send news of him your way.  But it may be a while before I find him." she said with a smile. 

"As a druid, I has sworn to protect nature with all my being. When my decisions end up harming nature, I must take it upon myself to right what i have done wrong in whatever way possible, be it planting a seed or wiping someone who has harmed nature greatly," Miru said, breathing onto the planted seed and taking a step cak  as it bean to grow into a large berry bush, "These seeds i plant take on whatever properties are most need in the area so they can best help their home."

"Thank you. I never got to meet my father, but I hope he lives so I can one day meet him," Nathan said, putting the ring back on, "Even if he's not, it would be nice to know where he is."

"Either way, it will grow strong here.  All life is something that needs to be protected, well says Goldenscale.  Thus there is the barrier." he said.

"I will what I can to find him and tell you." she said with a bow of her head.

"I can see why she put it there, but everything has its flaws. It is well intended, but it does have its effects on the forest itself. I will admit, there is more good coming out of it than bad, but it stands," Miru said, brushing through the bush's limbs to straighten them out.

"Thank you. I don't mean to trouble you so you don't have to go out of your way to do this," Nathan said, picking the hatchling up when it rubbed against his leg, "I can wait if I have to."

"There were dark spirits that threatened so much of the lives around her, so that was the main reason why she out the barrier up.  Her soul and magic is pure and strong, and they want that, so they chase her and try to get her power." Konoki said with a sigh.  "But the barrier was composed of magic from everyone who resides within the forest and the cave.  So it does have its flaws.  Nothing is perfect, but it can be close to perfect for its purpose and it is strong."

"A child should know who their parents are at least.  Being left in the dark is not something a child should live with.  And I am glad to help." she said with a smile.

"In the past week, the barrier itself has been getting stronger. It seems to have started with an addition of three souls near the start of last week. One of the existing souls seems to have been giving a continuesly growing strength to the barrier while the three new ones seem to be a begining top a similar energy," Miru said, backing away from the bush, "I would like to know what these souls are bound to. I would like to know what is providing the most energy to protect the forest."

"I wish my mother thought so. She seems bent on keeping me from knowing who my father is," Nathan said, holding the hatchling, "She's afraid of something, but I don't know what."

(Wouldn't that be Kokkorok's wife and kids that came within the last 'week'?)

"Yes, I think I heard about that...  Mayumi's eggs hatched recently, so she has three new siblings.  She was so upset at first because she didn't think she would get to see them hatch, but she did and she longs to return to see them again.  But they are cute little ones." Konoki said with a smile.

"Fear controls us in ways that many don't understand.  I can understand fear, but I don't try understanding why they fear it.  It's better to leave things be than to pursue it." she said with a slight nod.
