"So I'm guessing he is dead now.  He deserved it for mistreating all of his companions." she said with a slight shrug.

"Saying he's dead would only be putting it lightly but will suffice. Anyone under his influence will be free now," she said, moving over to the left wing, "No one will ever have to worry about him anymore."

"I already freed all of his companions, so now they won't have to worry about him anymore.  I'm glad.  He was a pain in the butt...".she said with a sigh.

"I'm just glad he didn't put up as much of a fight as his father did. Litches are a pain to deal with, even if it is a weak one," she said, "I'm also glad the other keepers seem to remember me now."

"I find it interesting that they would keep such promises even after such a length of time.  I mean, 20 years is quite a while." she said, opening her eyes and looking at Ahnah as she spoke.

"It is surprising, but I'm glad they kept it all this time. It shows that humans are capable of keeping their words," she said, running a few fingers through some tangled feathers, "Not all humans are bad. There are just as many good as there are bad. They are misleading by nature, but there are those that have overcome those instincts. Some even use lies to make each other feel better or to lift one's spirits."

"Makes sense.  I do believe that us as a kingdom uses it.  I have seen it happen." she said, purring as Ahnah sifted through her feathers.

"Lies may be wrong in a moral standpoint, they have their uses. A well placed and formed lie can save someone's life. Lieing to one's self can be a good way to make one work harder or achieve what they thought impossible before," she said, still combing through the feathers, "Most humans will make a promise and forget about it as the years pass, but there are some that will not only remember but stay true to it. Those that tend to keep their promises are usually religious figures or children. The keepers made the promise when they were only about seven or eight."

"Wow, at such a young age...  I find it amazing.  I wish most creatures would stay true to themselves and others like that.  It would be such a wonderful world that way..." she said with a sigh.

"It would be wonderful, but then the world would be too predictable. The humans that develop the abilities to keep promises and the like, do so because they are tought when they are young. They seek out the knowledge and abilities they will need for their goal. Some continue to reach for their goal, even after an injury that pulls them away from it," she said, "Their schools are very different when compaired with those of dragon societies. They teach mathmatics, reading, and many other skills most dragons know by instinct."

"Sounds like they have to learn a lot when they first start to explore." she said with a smile.  "At least in the end, everyone learns the same basics."

"They do. Last I remember, the average ime spent learning for humans is about thirteen years. Some of them take much longer by choice to get higher standings within society," she said, pulling one last losse feather out before sitting down and leaning against Goldenscale, "They know very little to begin with, but by the end, they could potentially rival a dragon. There's no wonder as to how they can be so dangerous."

"But they could also use their knowledge to help us.  It is a 50/50 chance." she said, curling her head over and placing it in Ahnah's lap.

"That is also true, and there have been several instances in the past where they have. It seems that every  11,000, each of the elemental dieties choose a human and dragon to defend against an entity known as the Moon that Never sets. The chosen humans become what is called a dragoon through the power the chosen dragons bestow on them in the form of a dragoon spirit. These spirits are a crystalized portion of the dragon's soul, allowing the chosen humans to wield the dragon's power and call on them for assistance," she said, laying her head against Goldenscale's, "Many human groups refer to these times as dragon campaigns. The last campaign ended in a flood that still remains today. Since the end of the campaign was never recorded, no one knows when the next one will occure."

"It will happen sometime, and then when it does, they can start recording again." she said, now folding her wings back against her.
