"We might try fishing for information about what we're looking for while we're here. Stick around for a little bit and find what we can, possibly find a definite direction to head," she said, coming to a building several stories high decorated to invite guests, "Here we are. Hopefully they have a room left."

"We shall find out soon." she said, opening the door and holding it for Ahnah.

Stepping in, Ahnah looked around before seeing the inn clerk. Going over to the clerk, she began asking about rooms. After a few minutes, she handed over a few silver coins and returned to Goldenscale. "They had one room open. It isn't the most comfortable room, but it is a safe place for the night," she said, handing Goldenscale a key, "Here's you copy of the key incase you need to leave the room for whatever reason."

"Alright.  Just as long as we have a place to stay." she said.

"I think we should get some rest. It's been a long day of traveling and we coudl use the rest," she said, starting towards the hall where their room was."

Goldenscale followed her.  "It will be nice, being able to gain more energy.  Sleep is wonderful as well, jus as long as you don't sleep too much." she said.

Finding the right door, Ahnah inserted the key and unlocked the door. "I guess we just need to find a place to put our bags and we can get to bed," she said, taking her bags off and placing them in a closset, "Should we take shifts, or do you think we'll be fine for the night?"

"I'll take the shift.  You rest.  We don't know enough about this place to be able to sleep without it." she said

"Very well, I'll switch with you later," she said, laying down on the bed and getting comfortable before falling asleep.

Goldenscale leaned against a wall and set about sharpening the sword Willow had given her.  Not like she planned on killing anyone, just in case.

Several a hours passed in peace until a bright light shined through the window. From the edge of town, the sky was lit with a massive orb of white energy. After afew moments, the orb fired off towards the forest and vanished with a final bright flash as it made contact with the barrier.

Goldenscale woke with a start, feeling the energy as it hit the barrier.  It had notified her when it hit and she hurriedly grabbed her sword.  But she had left everything else.  She then put a barrier on the room before leaving the room to investigate what had done that.

From the same edge of town, another orb began to form over a large tower built into the town's wall. Along the top, several figures could be seen while two guards were stationed at the base of the tower with the door.

Goldenscale hid and watched the building and the figures, then using her concealed magic to see if she could trace an aura.

As the orb grew, the aura around the figures grew more concentrated. When the orb reached full size, the figures moved, launching the orb at the forest once more. When the orb connected this time, there was a rumbling in the distance and a few curses yelled from one of the figures.
