"Is that so?" she asked airily.

"I remember meeting a few humans named Lily from my travels before the cave. Names like that seem to be more common the closer you get to the equater, " she said, starting to roll the stone around in her palm.

"It is a flower that likes constant weather." she said with a smile.

"True, I guess that could be why the name becomes more common down that way," she smilled back. Dropping the stone, she turned to Goldenscale with her smile wider than ever. "I think I just got the perfect excuse for any slipups in you speach paters with humans."

"That I'm foreign?" she asked.  "Is that what the excuse would be?" she asked.

"Yes, it'll aply to both of us. It'll cover my name, and your speech. It'll be perfect," she said, "They'll expect your speech to be different, and my name to be different as well."

She nodded.  "Great, for once I will have to be out of place." she said.

"Never thought you'd be doing that did you," she asked, smilling. From behind them, a caravan consisting of a carriage and two hourses, rode up beside them and stopped.

"Well, what do we have here? Two travelers headed in the same directino by the looks of it," the leader of the caravan said, climbing down from the carriage, "You two want to join us? It'll be safer this way."

"It would be very kind of you.  Ahnah, do you accept?" she asked with an accent.  

"I see no reason not to. There's safety in numbers I suppose," Ahnah said, keeping her accent similar to Goldenscale's.

"Climb on in then. We'll get on our way when you two are settled in," the carravaner said, stretching a few moments before climbing back into the carriage, "So, what's your names?"

"I am Lily and she is Ahnah." she said with a smile.

"Not from around here are ya? Well, I'd best warn you two, dragons are common and strong around here, especially in the forest out that way. Rumor is a dragon put that field surounding it as some form of barrier. We don't have any business in the forest, so we don't bother trying to find out. Oh,I'mZack by the way," he said, giving the reigns a whip once Ahnah and Goldensscale we on the carriage, "Some of the local beastkeepers have been banding together to try and figure out what sort f power ieswithing the forest. One of their scouts, a man in his late twenties, had the most perculiar name Frost, was sent in a few months back before the field appeared. He's yet to be seen again."

"Nice to meet you, Zack.  No, we aren't fro here." she said with a shake of her head..  Is that so?  I wonder what creature made the barrier..." she wondered.

"Whatever it is, it's keeping some dragons out as well as all sort of other things. The keepers have noticed one thing though, the barrier seems to be some sort of filter.They had one of their dragons chasing some sort of mini dragon through the area, but it got stopped as soon as the miniature dragon went through the barrier. Later, when the same dragon was sent to investigate the barrier, it could pass through without trouble," he said, looking back to Goldenscale, "Their only guess is that the same things that made the barrier also klled Archen some couple weeks backbefore the barrier went up."

"That could be possible, but aren't there other dragons and creatures as well that could.do the same?" she asked.  She was trying hard not to give anything away.
