"OK, I'll start then," Ahnah said, sitting back down. "Long ago, long before humans broke away from nature, and the elements were in perfect balance, Kyne, mother of all nature's spirits, created a tower that reached high into the sky. As the years went by, many things tried to attack the tower, and none of them could succede. One day, a creature of pure darkness attacked the tower, destorying it and Kyne's rule. To many, this creature is death, to others, it is insanity. Only one with pure heart and clear mind can restore the tower and returne Kyne to this world," she recited, creating figures of ice that acted out the fight between the darkness and Kyne, "The only clue is the runes. They are the key."

Goldenscale listened intently.

"In her fight with the darkness, Kyne created many spirits to serve in her place should the fight end against her favor. When the dust settled, the darkness stood before the very tower itset out to destroy, being unable to bring it harm due to Kyne's magic protecting it form within. In her last attempt to subdue the darkness, she cursed it to forever roam this world in search of the one who could break the darkness's own curse on the the tower and herself," Ahnah continued, the figures forming into a towere surounded by runes and a dark mist, "The tower still stands today as proof of a better time where the darkness never existed. Its location is deep withing the great jungle only the spirits of nature can bring one to. The jungle itself is protected by creatures found nowhere else. The spirits wait for the day someone brings the keys back to their place at the tower."

Goldenscale listened to the story, wondering if the darkness would leave if the runes could be brought back together.

"The only clue as to who that someone is, is the name Zinariya Sikelin and they have a partner  Silver Matsayin. The language these names are from has been lost to the ages, and can only be speculated to have a direct translation into today's languages. Until these two are found, Kyne will remain at her place in the tower, waiting for her time to returne," ahnah said, letting the figures melt and disappear as she concluded her story. "I did my best to translate it into something these could understand. Any confusion would be understandable."

"That was a great story." Goldenscale said with a smile.

"It's the one I believe these runes are connected to," she said, pulling the ice rune out again, "I believe it is your turn now Goldenscale."

"Alright, here we go." she said with a sigh.  "Once there used to be a group of humans that settled in a prarie that was filled with noting but a few tufts of grass.  They had farm animals with them, like cows and pigs and goats, even a couple deer, and there wasn't enough grass to feed them.  So they began to plant grass all over the place, and soon grass sprouted from every corner.  But the humans saw how beautiful the small plants made it, so they began to plant biger things.  First were flowers, then crops, then trees.  Soon they had grown themselves a forest after several decades.  Different kinds of animals had moved to the new forest to live and the humans loved it.  They could take the fruits of the plants and eat them to live and their animals had plenty to eat." she began.

Gentily picking Ece up and cradling her as she slept, Ahnah listened intently.

"But then there came a time where the plants began to take over their living space and the animals were being taken at night by the predators of the forest, so they ended up having to leave once more.  Once they had left, the forest and the animals began to break down the houses of wood and stone and made it look as though humans had never been there.  For years afterwards, the forest began to grow more and more animals came to live within its peaceful trees, and a chosen leader from each of the animals was sent to protect the forest from all that chose to harm it.  From that day forth, the land was at peace.

"The forest of forgoten guardians," Ahnah whispered, carefully brushing Ece's frills flat against her to prevent damage, "Could we possible end up there one day?"."

"Who knows." she said with a smile.

"We might if it is the same forest i think it is. There's not telling with there being stories mentioning similar forests at every corner of the world," Ahnah said, passing Ece to Goldenscale, "Go ahead and continue your story."

"That was the story." she said.  "It was Willow's favorite story."

"I see. Well, i think we should get to bed a little early, we need to get up a little earlier so we can stop by Mayumi's in the morning," she said, picking up Ece's carving and paint before placing them on a shelf, "It would be a good foot to start on."
