"They chose well when choosing your spirit. You contain power, but you also know what that power is capable of," he said, "So, what do you wish to talk about? I am guessing that conversation is a common thing these days."

(I don't know how to put this, so I'm sorry if it goes all over the place.)

"I just wanted to meet you, since the first time we spoke we didn't introduce each other properly.  You must be Bastion.  I am Goldenscale, and it's wonderful to meet you." she said with a smile.

"That would be correct. It is a pleasure to meet you as well," he said with a smile. "May I ask who this little miracle is," he asked, giving Ece a light pat.

"This is my adopted daughter, Ece.  She is a fae from my world.  I felt sorry for her because she had lost her parents and sibling to a dragon who desired the taste for their species.  I caught him trying to eat her and he died a terrible death.  I'm glad I was able to catch him and get rid of him." she said as she nuzzled Ece.

"I am aware of whhat her life was like. She is a child of nature, and for that I am glad she is with you. I am aware of what fae dragons are since there was a necromancer that warped them in against their wills to use in fortifying his curses several decades ago.," he said, "The one who put this necromancer down is the same one you call mother now. She, her first mate, and the rest of her family worked together in a war against him. In the necromancer's final breath, he reversed his warping spell to send them to your world."

"I am sorry she had to leave her planet because of it, but I am glad I am able to call someone mother, and not being abandoned again as so many had before.  But she lost so much on my planet..." she said with a sigh.

"She may have lost much, but she will be made better by them. She knows how to better take care of those she still has. Mayumi's newest clutch will survive this time," he said, "What you bring back from your journey will make sure of this."

"To tell you the truth, I don't even know what I'm looking for..." she said with a frown.

"THat is what the journey is for. You have to identify what you are looking for first. To do so, you have to find someone who has clues or knowledge about it," he said, conjuring a small rune and holding it up to Goldenscale's chest, "This is one clue. Kelan and Nefirian have one each for you as well. Consider this our thanks for what you've done."

She smiled.  "Thank you, Bastion.  I have a feeling I'll know this object when I see it, and this will make it easier to find."

"Do know it is only a part of what you are looking for. What we give you now will serve  as clues and as key pieces later on," he said, stepping back to let Kelan step forward.

Pulling a glass egg from his coat, Kelan handed it to Goldenscale. "This will prove to be one of the most difficult puzzles you'll find on this journey. Miles between are the peices," he said, "You must know how to deal with the pieces when you some to them." Stepping back like Bastion did, he let Nefirian step around.

Plucking one of the feathers from his wing, Nefirian held it out for Goldenscale. "The stars hold more questions than answers, but that does not mean they can't answer your questions. The world beyond the sky sees everything and connects everyone. Use it as you need," he said as the texture of the feather turned to reflect the night's sky, "Those you hold close will hear you when given the time."

"Thank you, everyone." she said as she put all of the items in a bag she had created.  "I will always keep these with me."

"They will serve their purposes well. Just remember, each is a piece of a puzzle or clue," Nefirian said. "Well, it has been nice meeting with you again, but it has come time to return to reality.," he said, stepping back as the world began to fade, "I wish the best of luck to you." When Nefirian stopped talking, the world dispersed from view. When everything returned to normal, a the light of day shined against Goldenscale's eyes.

Goldenscale sat up and looked around.  She smiled.  She then looked around for Ece, Alekai, Tieral and Ahnah.

Still in the Willow's branches where she fell asleep,, Alekai was positioned on a different branch sporting the new skin he had got during the Ball. Letting out a yawn, Ece looked around before spotting a small pile of boxes sitting beside Goldenscale. "Where did those come from," she said before yawning agian, "Were those there before?"

"Those are the things you and Goldenscale bought at the Ball. Nefirian is good about getting the items to you by the time you awake," Mayumi said, nuzzling each of the hatchlings before looking over to Goldenscale, "If he can't get it put in a box like Alekai's new skin, he'll have it put directly on your person. Tiral is probably still back at your home or wherever he was when he fell asleep."

"He's fine, he fell asleep at you place Goldenscale. That was one interesting bend in reality," Ahnah said, stepping through the bushes.
