Goldenscale smiled. "Maybe I could flap my wings too to try and cool you guys further. I guess we should think of a list of supplies then." she said before looking to Moonlight. "Teamwork is what makes us all stronger, and if we didn't have that, we would fail. We all compliment each other to some degree, so we can use that to our advantage." she said with a smile. Her smile was then replaced by the frown as she listened to Ahnah. "No, we won't. We have started this mission, and it is our duty to finish it. I know I can't because I have made promises, both to myself and others, and I will keep my word unless death derails me. And until we either finish this mission or we are defeated, I know we can complete this." she said, her voice filled with confidence in ther abilities.

"I'm confident that we wont fail. Between the promises we've made and our determination, we have no reason to fail short of the whole world turning against us. Even then, we'd do our best to push through," Ahnah said, returning the smile, "I see no reason for us to be unable to take on the Shade and release Kyne. As we are, we comand enough might to take on any minion it may send against us. By the end of the jouney, we will have both grown stronger, and have the strength of the remaining aspec champions to help us. With any luck, we may have the aspects themselves lending us their strength."

"With or without the strength of the aspects, I believe that you all will have the strength to achieve your ultimate goal. The great fortuneteller who gave us the prophecy, saw that three souls, one gold, one silver, and one black, would lead this world back to the beauty it once held. She had full confidence that those three souls would overcome whatever came their way, be it the ice of the Fortress of End, or the torrential waters of the Spiral Keep deep in the sea," Deniigi said, motioning to a group of painingscronicalling the prophecy, "I have reason to believe that you all are those spirits. When you came here, you were missing the silver spirit. Now that Ahnah has been chosen by Moonlight, her spirit has been turned silver to match her affiliation." Taking one of the stones from the ceremony and placing it on the ground between the group. As the stone lit up once more, faint colored auras began to show around each person, Ahnah's silver, Goldenscale's gold, Midnight's black, and Kaden's snow white. "You have the hopes and wishes of everyone here chearing you on once you leave. Every shaman since the telling on the prophecy has kept vigilant in maintaing the story in hopes that one day it would come true, and bring back Kyne to this world," he said, passing a hand over tthe stone to show his aura being clear compared to everyone else's, "I know not if it is just coincidense or not, but you all are the first souls to grace this village to match the description in any manner."

"The bond we share as a team is stronger than the willpower of a million soldiers on their own. And besides, we already have two Champions helping out, myself and Kaden, so we'd be exponetially stronger if we gain more Champions." she said with a chirp. "As long as we keep believing, then we can do anything we put our minds to." When Deniigi spoke, she smiled brightly, glad someone else was being optimistic about their journey as well. Upon hearing about a prophecy, her ears perked in interest. She hadn't known about any prophecy when she first took on the journey, but then again the mission itself had become much more than a search for a potion. Seeing her own aura color and those of her friends and family, her eyes widened in awe, then turned to confusion. She continued to listen to Deniigi as he spoke, then nodded. "I'm sure that we'll be able to feel their cheering for a longtime. It will be helpful having people know of our mission. But I can't understand something about your prophecy. Why is it my aura is gold when I'm also a follower of Moonlight? I may be her Champion, but I thought that such a color would represent Sunlight." she said.

"The color of one's spirit is often an indication of their current state of being. While there are multiple reasons for one's spirit to become golden, the most common reason being that they're free of any form of corruption by the Shade. Tipical people can achieve this through major effort on their part, or the rare occaion of being born that way. You wre more than likely born wish a golden spirit," Deniigi explained, waving Corazon over to show her aura being a pale gold compared to Goldenscale's, "It is possible for everyone in your group to change their souls to a golden color though. It would likely make htier souls apear golden with a tint of their aligned aspect's color. Ahnah's for example, would end up looking like yours since she's aligned with Moonlight." "That all being said, the corruption that resides in everyone isn't harmful. Rather, it's a result of the world's current condition. Only those who are born directly through an aspect's will are free from those energies. Getting rid of the Shade itself wont get rid of corruption as it's a byprodduct of the Shade's arrival into this world," he said, sensing Ahnah's worry, "Like I said before though, it is possible to cleanse one's self of he corruption. The proccess is one brought to this world through a hole in the world of dreams, and reqires one to rely on the spirits of generaions past to peal away the layers of corruption that have built up over time."

"From what I''ve heard of those who have purformed the proccess to cleanse themselves of the sorruption, it can be painful at times, but results in one becoming a great deal closer to nature. There is also the risk of atracting mental creatures known as boralions who would see to it that one's memories and dreams are assulted," Corazon said, taking a seat beside Deniigi, "Not much is know about boralions other than their opposition to another group of mental beings known as flarions which might be atracted as well. Beyond that conflict, not much is known by us about them though."

(I'm sorry if my posts are short. I'm using my DSi, and that makes all posts look weird.)Goldenscale gave a nod in understanding, understanding why her aura was different despite being a follower of the Moon. Hearing about the darkness inside one's soul and how those born of elementals escaped that, she pressed her lips lightly together as if in disagreement. She did have darkness residing inside her, but it most of it had manifested in the form of Shade, who she knew still walked the Earth. If he had known, then that would change some things, especially if he had heard about what would happen if she gave in to it. But it was best to keep that information safely hidden away. She then frowned in faint recognition in hearing there was a cleansing process that could be used to cleanse the corruption from one's soul. It sounded familiar, but she didn't know where she had heard it. Then she learned of the creatures that assaulted people's mentalities. Now they sounded familiar as well. Maybe she had learned something like them from Mossed or Mayumi, seeing as she had also heard those names before. "Wouldn't it also take a long time depending on how much one had been corrupted? And wouldn't it be tiring for the spirits who would have to cleanse them?" she asked.

(That's fine, I've had to deal with typing posts out on a 3Ds wich isn't much better viewing wise.))

"That would be true. The longer one allows corrpution to remain in theer bodies, the harder it is for the spirits to remove it, and the more energy the spirits must expend to remove it," Deniigi said, giving a nod, "That reminds me, there is another way to cleanse oneself of corruption, but the ritual to do so takes a little more than just the corrution with it. It results in two beings. Both are ecentially the same person, but their personallities are near completly opposite from each other. There have been rumors that such beings can manifest without the ritual, but that's the only way to intentionally create one. While the ritual is known by us, we avoid using it without the target being in a life or death situation without it. As such, the relationship between the two entities is largly unknown beyond what I've already said."

"I'm assuming you've heard of the previous method though Goldenscale, the one working with spirits. Most people would only know of those two conditions had they see it performed before," Corazon said, thinking for a moment, "Would it be possible that you''ve made contact with  flarion before? While ucommon, it isn't unheard of for someone to be contacted by them through dreams, or unexplained memories."

(Well, at least my posts looked normal on the 3DS. I had mine taken... I hope that I'm spelling Mossed's species name right. It'scertainly been a while ince I've seen those... And I hope I'm getting everything right... It has been ages since I've read this stuff...)Goldenscale listened, nodding when she heard that her questions had been right, then stopped breathing when she heard of the other ritual. Well, she fit in the category where she manifested in two beings. Suuch a thing made her uncomfortable, though she showed no signs of it. Though she would like to prove that as truth and not a rumor, she didn't want to be looked at differently because she had ties to another being. Eventually she did start breathing, but quietly so that no one would know that she had ever stopped. She then looked to Corazon as she spoke, then looked to the ground. "Oh, wellI think Mom is one... and I think her mother was one too. And I think I heard Mossed talking about them too. He's a Veranius, I think, who comes to visit occassionally." she said, trying to remember.

((Mossed isn't a varanius, he's a leupack. His facet gives him a distinct connection with varani though. Both are creations of DNA ans Sixar though alongside flarions and boralions. You're posts look fine on my end using a pc though so you're fine there.))

"That would be peculiar. Flarion  aren't known to venture into our realm. There's never been any proof that one or more have passed through the viel of dreams that separate our world and theirs. If it is true, then she and her family are a rarety containing troves of natural knowledge and spiritual guidences," Deniigi said, his eyes poening briefly at Goldenscale's statement, " As for the Mossed figure, he sounds like he might be a scholar on the subject. Those who study the habits of boralions and flarions have come to find numerouse ways to maintain one's spirit."

"I have a question though. You said your mother was possibly a flarion, but you've also said that your are one of Moonlight's saved souls. Is it that you remember your past existence or is there some information we're missing to draw up an incorrect conclusion," Corazon asked, watching as the stone's light faded once more, "If not, that would make you a flarion as wel. In tern, that would mean we have plenty more questions for you."

(That's what he is... I was second guessing myselffor a while because that also sounded like what Alekai was, but I couldn't think of anything else. And awesomesauce. My DSi is juust giving me a billion lines, so I can never actually read and write at the same time. I alsi found out that the DSi has a letter limit. I have no idea what it is, but I've hit it before.) Goldenscale gave a nervous chuckle before frowning. "Well, she's the only one left now. She, her husband, and daughter were teleported here by random with no way home. Her mother visited a while back, but as a spirit since she had passed." she said. She then lit up when Deniigi complimented Mossed. "He is very smart. He was able to create a portal to this realm using my consciousness. He also creates these artificially living robots, and they are the cutest little things!" she said with a chirp and a purr. She then loked to Corazon, noticing her confusion before chuckling embarrasedly in her stupidity. "No, I am not a flarion and I am indeed one of Moonlight's saved souls. I'm adopted. I was found and still am still not considered an adult yet, so I was classified as an orphan when I entered the cave she and Ahnah resided." she explained.

(Ya, both 3DS and DSi have character limits, but I haven't taken the time to actually count out that limit on either. All I know is that the 3DS has a higher character limit.))

"I see, so Mossed is a being from the other world then. Curious that he was able to create such a portal. He's defenitely not a tipical being from that world. Is the most they can do to even contact anyone in this world, at least records only show that. That also brings up the question on how  your mother and her blood family got teleported here. I suppose that's something only she can hope to answer in time," Corazon said, giving a nod, "Maybe when your journey is over, we can make a visit to this cave. On top of meeting your mother, it'll be nice to see where Ahnah has been all these years."

"That'll probably have to wait till sometime after they finish their journey though. There's no telling whether or not the village would be prepared for contact with another group that far out," Deniigi said, placing a wing over Corazon's back, "When we do visit, it will be nice though. I'd be interested in seeing where Ahnah learned to be such a powerful guardian. Such facilities aught to be far more advanced than we have here."

"In some ways, yes. The only part of training that's better here is the more personal atachment the instructors have towards their students. Back in the cave, enforcers are trained in groups of a hundred or more. While the usual official who employs the enforcers doesn't make use of more than five, there's the equivalent of an entire army trained in case there's ever a need to defend the cave from outside forces," Ahnah stated, taking out the crystal she had been given to keep in contact with goldenscalea dn fastening the loop around her neck, "Unfortunatly, initiates aren't taught how to deal with wounds. The run on the idea that they are to protect their charge from harm rather than mend harm done."

(I have yet to reach the character limit on my 3DS, so it must be quite high.) Goldenscale listened with a frown, then turned her head. "Well, she told me she had no clue how she got there, so I don't think that we'll be getting the answer to that question for a long time." she replied to Corazon. She then smiled when Corazon said she would like to see the cave both she and Ahnah lived in. It certainly was a nice, spacious cave and she loved it, but there was work to be done fixing all the problems within. Listening to Deniigi speak, Goldenscale gave an embarrased chuckle. "Well, it's not exactly ready for the outside world either. There needs to be some fixing of rules and damage and stuff like that before it's ready for the arrival of anyone outside the forest." she said, waving her paw around as she spoke.Hearing Denigi's last statement made her blink. She didn't know if the facilities were indeed more advanced, and she was glad when Ahnah answered. She then smiled at Ahnah when she spoke of how many enforcers were used by the usual official. Then she sighed when Ahnah finished. "Which is another thing that will have to be taught. I still don't know these things Ahnah. You should have told me before we left." she said with a sigh. She then smiled. "Well anyways, I'm not the usual official. I've employed my troupe, and I don't need any of them. The first three were given because of the ceremony, then the others were just added to keep them together in the same squad." she said with a prroud smile, glad to be the odd-one out.

"With Mayumi taking head of the council, I was sure that she would try to at least incorperate healing practices into the training regiment. She's was always one to value healing over combat after all. Besides, even if she hasn't by the time we get back, it'll be something she has planned," Ahnah said, placing a hand over Goldenscale's, "It's just something that will take time to come to a head."

"I guess that's a reason for us to wait till our own village is ready then. We'd rather not get in the way of something important, or be in the way in general," Deniigi said, giving a shrug, "As with life, there are things that are better to wait for."

Goldenscale looked at Ahnah with complete shock. "Wait, what!? Since when has Mom been decided as the head of Council? Why wasn't I ever told?" she said, obviously upset that she hadn't know that information. Mayumi was a very important personto her, and such an accomplishment was something Goldenscale would have celebrated. She looked at the ground, not even looking up when Ahnah placed her hand on hers. She didn't mind secrets, but it made her wonder why she hadn't been told information she thought was important. The rules of the Academy were understandable, but her own mother, adoptive or not, not telling her about such a great success. She did listen to Deniigi, giving a sigh. "That's true, but there is no way of knowing whether there will be something greater. Something better could have been passed up, andthat could have been the last choice fo a while. It's better to live inthe moment and think of the future. Not too far ahead though." she answered.

"I suppose it was going to be a secret for when we got back. I remember her communicationg through the crystal she had given us while you were asleep. While she's still more dedicated to the hatchlings, she's been setting some majorly needed changes underway. Oh well, at least it'll still be something nice to come back to," AHnah said, thinking for a moment, "She also expressed that she'd like to try keeping in contact more. Tonight might be a good chance to attune the crystal for a conversation or two."

"So, that cave's main proccess for communication is through atuned crystals.  I'll admit, that idea has crosted the minds of several past leaders of this clan, but none of them thought it would work. I suppose ot's a case of not knowing till you try," Deniigi said, chuckling over Goldenscale's reactions, "You're more than welcome to use the meditation chamber of my house if you wish to have a quiet place to atune the crystal in. It sounds like there's already plenty for you to catch up on."

Goldenscale gave a soft huff after Ahnah finished speaking, but finally looked up.  While she might not be happy with the thought of a secret being told, especially in this case, she could let it go.  Mayumi might have just been keeping that as a secret just to make it a surprise, like she was planning to do with the hatchlings.  In the end, she decided that it was something not to stay upset about and raised her ears a little bit to try and catch some sort of happy aura.  Listening to Deniigi's offer, Goldenscale gave a soft smile.  "That would be good.  I think I'll take you up on that offer tonight.  Thank you." she stated simply with a slight smile.
