Goldenscale made a confused chirp before realization hit her. "Oh, I see my mistake. I didn't know Ahnah's ceremony would start right after I got her. I was planning on being there, I promise, but I did not realize my error..." she said, her ears going down at realizing her own stupidity. "I guess my lack of sleep is affecting my thought process..." she added. "Anyways, we should probably head back. I don't want in any way to make anything an inconvenience." she said.

"It's fine, there'll probably be a few minutes before the ceremony is ready when we get there. Besides, the only way you'd be an inconvenience would be if you actively put yourself in the way," AHnah said, nuzzling Goldenscale's neck before making her way out.

"I wish the best of luck to you in getting the spirit you hoped for," Aipaloovik called out, "May the Icewarden look down upon you."

Waiting outside, Ahnah held her offering close to her chest. Starting at the  the Shaman's hut, a faint light began to wash over the village. As the light grew brighter, the reidents began emergin from their homes. As each resident embraced the light, spirits of all sizes and ages begant o fill in the spaces between the living.

Goldenscale listened to Ahnah and smiled when she said that she wasn't an inconvenience. She had certainly hoped that she wasn't, and Ahnah said that was true. When her love nuzzled her, Goldenscale chirped happily and hurriedly turned around so she could lick Ahnah's cheek. Hearing Aipaloovik's wishes for Ahnah, she smiled, but her ears went up in alarm at seeing the light, then groaned as spirits appeared. While she could handle large amounts of auras or spirits in one place, she certainly couldn't handle auras and spirits just appearing out of nowhere. Her body was used to feeling them and getting used to them, but the sudden appearances gave her a headache. "The spirits her for the ceremony?" she asked Ahnah, masking her discomfort since she would rather give Ahnah all her attention that day.

"Yes, they're here to make sure that the ceremony goes through without interruption. This ceremony always atracts dark spirits, and thos eyou see aorund us now are here to make sure those don't cause trouble," Ahnah said, starting towards the hut, "These spirits are from generations past, sworn to protect both spirit and village in their own ceremonies. It's sad to see the younger spirits since they didn't get to live a full life before being taken, but it'snice knowing they're in good company."

As Ahnah and Goldenscale made their way back to the hut, several spirits seemed to create a tunnel like path in front of them. With each step taken, the spirits behind them would move up and block the way for any intruding spirits. "You may notice some of the residents communing with a spirit or two.  It's considered tradition to seek out and speak with spirits related to them. It gives both living and dead some peace out their situations," she said, nodding to a mother speaking with the spirit of a child, "It also gives the younger spirits to possibly reunite with their families."

(Sorry if my post is terrible... I feel like I'm just rambling...)

Goldenscale listened, her eyes wandering over the spirits. Her headache was leaving now that her body was getting used to feeling all the auras, and she smiled. "They might not have lived a full life, but they still know what goes on. If they watch over the villages and other spirits, then they aren't really gone. It's sad, yeah, but such is the nature of life. Life can be kindled, or it can be snuffed, and we just have to remember." she said, her ears to the sides in content. With a purr, Goldenscale followed Ahnah under the tunnel, feeling at ease now. Spirits never did frighten her, unless she felt danger from one. But that wasn't often she felt that way. As they walked, she would give slight nods in thanks to the spirits who were currently offering them protection. "There is nothing wrong with that. Spirits shouldn't be ignored just like anyone else shouldn't. It's nice to see people talking with them." she purred.

(It's fine. Rambling can add to a story more often than not. It just depends on how it's done. As far as I can tell, your rambling is fine with me.)

"This is one of the few things I missed form this place. The times that this happens outside of ceremonies, this light would create beautiful sights across the snow and sky. While humans would always be more interested in the colors waving in the sky, we would be reuniting with those who cared for us in their time," Ahnah said as they reached the hut, "Who knows, my mother may be among these spirits today. I guess that's something I'll just have to keep an eye out for during and after the ceremony."

Once inside the hut, Ahnah made her way over to Deniigi and Corazon. Placed in small alcoves around the room, the stones Deniigi had prepared earlier in the night were emiting a soft blue glow. Placing her offering upon the pedestal sitting opposite of Deniigi, she took out her bone and began to pray. "I make this offering unto the spirits of this realm. May one accept this offering and take me under their gaze. I promise to surve you in death as I serve the living in life. Should I ever break this promise, may my soul burn for an eternity to repent," Ahnah called, tossing the bone into the fire  as the chant concluded. Upon hitting the fire, the bone froze midair. Turning upright, the air above it began to distort in a portal for spirits.

(Alright. I didn't know how well I was wording my post since I was tired. I'm glad it was fine though.)

Goldenscale smiled brightly. "But spirits are everyone, most people just can't see them though. I talk with them all the time, and I help them. It's always good when I talk to them. Maybe one day you can see and hear them too, though I will have to show you how to tell the evil ones from the good ones. That's tricky." she said, purring. "I don't know for sure if her spirit will be here, but I do know that you will know if she's hear. It's sort of a sense that families have with each other, though most beings don't realize it." she added with a warm smile. She then followed Ahnah into the hut, and watched her dear love as she began setting up things. She knew not what they were, but she did notice that the stones she had been watching Deniigi make all night were now glowing. They captured her gaze and she watched them for a moment before looking to Ahnah as she spoke. She then prred and chirped quietly as she felt Moonlight's presence in the room. It wasn't long before a silver light flooded the room softly, a silvery form making it's way to stand between Ahnah and Deniigi, but in front of the side of the pedestal. Her graceful feathered wings shrouded her form and remained outstretched as her body solidified. "My dearest Ahnah, you will never need to burn an eternity fo anything. Your reasoning for everything will always be a wonderous trait that always knows good." Moonlight said. "It would be an honor if I could claim such a caring and wonderous dragon as a representative. I do not not need any such offering, though I will take something to have something you can call upon me with." she said with a smile as she looked at Ahnah, her voice sounding like the gentle chiming of bells with the smooth soothingness of running water. She then reached a delicate claw over to the bundle on the pedestal, hesitating slightly over it

Smiling, Ahnah lowered her head. As Moonlight hovered over the offering, the silver coin Ahnah had used to bind it together came loose to rest in Moonlight's grasp. "With spirits of generations past as our witness, let this agreement be known by all. Moonlight, spirit of the moon, has come forward to claim Ahnah as her representative," Deniigi, called out, his voice carrying across the village, "From this moment forward, she shall be known as Ahnah, Envoy of the Moon. May the world now welcome her as a Shaman."

Standing up, Ahnah, gave a nod to Deniigi. "Thank you Moonlight, I hope I can bring honor to your name," she said, looking up to Moonlight, "I owe so much to you. Goldenscale and the oportuninty to travel with her is more than I could have ever asked for. i feel it's time I gave something back."

Moonlight smiled and held the coin in her hand with the tenderness of a doe, and smiled as Deniigi announced Ahnah as the new Shaman. Though that was an announcement on its own, Moonlight lifted her head and her wings and gave a roar, the sound not at all intimidating, but instead graceful and beautiful, sounding like a intricate song in which no rhythm could be found, Moonlight's own announcement to her silver-lighted children that there was a new addition to the family. Hearing the roar, Goldenscale perked her ears up and answered her, her voice sounding similar to that of Moonlight's but with a more childish pitch, the unconscious reaction to the spirit's call even though she had watched the ceremony. Moonlight had finished her call before Golden and her ocean-blue eyes rested onAhnah. Goldenscale finished and shook her body, a new feeling of awareness entering her in response to the addition of Ahnah into the family, smiling and chirping quietly in the euphoric high of the moment. Upon hearing Ahnah speak, Moonlight gave a chuckle. "You already have. While most do have to prove themselves to me, you have proven to me a billion times over in the few months you have known Goldenscale. You both have changed for the better since I've been in contact. You owe me nothing. You have taken precious care of my best creation and golden child, and that is more than enough. When before she would rather die than live, you and her other family in the forest have gotten her to choose life. I owe you much more." she said, her eyes filled with the tenderness of a mother as she glanced at Goldenscale. "Besdies, it's enough of a privilage to call you daughter." she mused.

"Then I seek no more than to continue protecting Goldenscale. By proffesion and obligation, I have no reason to abandon her now. She means too much to me for that to happen," Ahnah said, catching her bone as it fell form the edge of the portal, "I'm honored to be considreed family."

"Thank you Moonlight. Aga would have wanted nothing short of Ahnah's spiritual freedom. If she were here now, I'm sure she would thank you herself," Alignak said, stepping forward from the wall, "Who knows, maybe her spirit is here to do that, but time will only tell."

Moonlight smiled at Ahnah and nodded. "You and her will both be wonderful together, and I have no doubts that you'll be a good rolemodel for her. She has learned to act too much like a male, and though that isn't a bad thing, it will do her good to learn to be a lady." she purred, chuckling as she watched Goldenscale titter and chirp still from the euphoria of feeling the sensation. "You have been considered family since the moment Goldenscale wanted to be with you. I am intrigued to see how this triangle will work out. I have a very vague definition of family after all." she added before looking to Alignak. "It would be an honor to to meet the mother of such a wonderful Shaman, but alas it does depend onif she is present." she said. "But I am sure I'll meet her someday, even if she will be a new spirit."

"We can only hope that she's present here today. There's no telling whether or not she has pssed through the spirit gates yet. Whenever you do meet her, I hope it's under friendly conditions," Alignak said, this fir on his wings twitching as if someone was brushing through it. Pausing, he looked to the air above him as a presence faded in through what remaind of the portal Ahnah's bone had opened.

"What could be better conditions than this? While my time is short, I had to take the portal. I only wish I could have lived to see this in life," the presence said, its form taking that of a much healthier Aga, "Regardless, I'm here." Turning to Moonlight, Aga smiled. "It's a pleasure to meet the spirit who has taken my eldest daughter as an envoy. I'm glad it a grand spirit such as yourself and Sunlight that has taken our daughters in."

Moonlight only gave a soft snort before answering. "I do not know who enters the gates for I cannot find them again. It is those who walk the earth that I can find and speak to. If she has not yet walked on this path, then I will eventually speak to her." she said. She then smiled when she saw the ruffled fur on Alignak's wing. That must be the said spirit, she thought to herself. She then chuckled and dipped her head in greeting. "The pleasure is all mine, Aga. It's an honor to have her as a representative. I have never taken part in suh a ceremony before, nor have I ever been asked to be the spirit to accept a Shaman. Besides, it is thanks to my newest creation that I know of her anyways. She's a miracle-bringer." she purred, watching the child for a moment. Goldenscale had made her way over to Ahnah and was bounding all around her with renewed energy, all her sleepiness gone. Moonlight turned back to Aga. "She will make a wonderful Shaman. I have watched Ahnah through the memories and conversations I have with my creation, and she proves to have much potential."

"Sadly, I can't say I've seen this potential that you have. She had a great aptitude for the healing arts during her time here, but I thought she might try and distance herself from them when she left. I just wish I could have been there for her more," Aga said, chuckling as Ahnah  began to purr as well, "I can see that Ahnah is in good company. It warms me to see her happy for the first time in my existance though. She found her calling, and that's what matter. I couldn't ask anything more of those she travels with."

"She's with much better company than I could have ever produced. I'm glad that she could find happiness. I still have a long way to go to change the way I think, I can at least  be happy knowing Ahnah has found someone," Alignak said, spreading a wing out as Aga leaned into his side, "I just hope that her skills with healing with prove sufficiant or better for the journey she shares. I feel that she will need every spell and trick she's learned."

Being joined by Corazon, Ahnah spread her wings to brush over Goldenscale's back. "I can't describe this feeling, but it feels great.  It's as if the stars are with me," she chirped, "I haven't felt like this since you had chosen me to be one of your Enforcers."

Moonlight gave a slight frown after hearing about Ahnah's abilities. "I haven't actually seen that side of Ahnah. She has great potential as a warrior and as a mage, but I have never seen her use healing magic. She's actually become an elite warrior of a group called the Enforcers in the community where they both currently reside. Ahnah is actually one of the Enforcers actually charged with protecting Goldenscale, my recent creation, and she has neither needed much protection or healing. I can feel her potential though, through Goldenscale and it is impressive." she said, a smile creeping back into her face. She then gave a chuckle. "If she doesn't wish to use those powers, she doesn't have to. Goldenscale is capable of healing through the use of herbs, and can commune with the ancient nature spirits if needed. It would be helpful if more than one being in the group could heal. And I'm sure that group is ready for anything." Moonlight purred.

Goldenscale chirped and purred with such fervor, and continued to bounce around a moment longer before nuzzling Ahnah. "This is amazing! I've never felt this before! I've never had to reply to Moonlight through roaring either, so this is new." she chirped, joyful and bouncing with energy.
