"I agree with you. So get your gear and we can start burning and grabbing," Beck throws his backpack on with a little provisions and heads outside and waits by Nathaniels home finishing off his breakfast.

After a few minutes Nathaniel walkes out carrying only a small satchel and three vials of fluid strapped around his lef arm. "I've got all I'll need. I;ve got two bags, a blowgun, and three kinds of nerve poison with darts," he said running through his checklist, "I'm ready when you are."

"Nice i got my bag here with a little food, water, lamp, matches, and a knife. I'm hoping to find a new one soon. and i've been saving this," he pulls out a hatchet.

"You could have asked me to make you a new knife. It takes a little work with a hammer, but my spikes make excelent knives," he said pulling up a pants leg to show five of them strapped around his leg. Taking one off, he handed it to Beck, "Here take one, I can always make more. If I wanted I could make about a dozen a month. Can't make any more than that due to the time it take to regrow the spikes."

They begin to walk with the fruit, "No thanks man i prefer the search it took to find it. It's like i earned it. No offense of coarse," He says handing it back, "the knife i have its been with me for about two years now. I found it when i fell into a manhole. i had broken my leg when i did. When i looked to my side i found someone had done the same but didn't survive the fall. I found it on him and with it i was able to patch myself up and get out of there."

"I understand. Sometimes you just have to earn your equipment. Personally, I'd rather make my own cloths and gear, but right now I'm waiting till i have enough materials to do that. I guess it's because I've had trust issues ever since the first group that took me in tried to kill me for my scales," he said taking the knife back and putting it in his satchel, "That's why I've refused to live in the main building with everyone else."

"Ahh i understand that. You know those bed sheets would be good for casual clothes right? any ways...." Beck drops down beside a car and looks through the broken glass on ahead.

"They probably would, but i'd rather have a warm bed and premade cloths than a stripped bed that would gather dirt and bugs faster," he said dropping down beside Beck, "You see something?"

"Yeah a sewer rat," Beck says seeing an anthro dirtied but the eyes are blood shot and there was foaming at the mouth. "a feral reptile of sorts. More lizard than frog. Also foaming at the mouth no clothes."

"Want to take a shot at themwith a dart? The nerve poison will nock them out in about a minute," he whispered as he took the blowgun out and a few darts out, "It would be best to aim for the neck or chest. Getting the neck will have it work the fastest, but the chest will shut down the heart first."

"well we cant have him stay here. and we can't have him follow us. What do you want to do once we shot him?" Beck says keeping an eye on the sewer rat.

"The least we could do is bury him. It woud give him one last bit of dignity," he said taking a vial and poking the thin dart through the rubber lid, coating it in the poison.After he loaded the blowgun, he handed it to Beck, "The disease he carriers would make anything we could get from him a danger to our health."

"Ok here it goes," He lays the barrel on the window frame to help balance it. It takes him a few minutes and he fires. He watches it fly through the air and hit the target in the neck. The creature turns and runs towards them. "give me another one. Also i'd say leave the darts in him. I don't want to risk what he has to enter us."

"Agreed, I can always make more darts," he said handing another dart to Beck, "If this one doesn't stop him, we're going to have to get moving."

This time he fires it at the eye. When he does the creature trips and crashes into the uneven pavement. "here and thanks. The dart was able to go and punter the brain a little delivering the dose or i hope so." He gets up to look and sees that the creatures head is cracked on the pavement. "ehh lets drag him over to the bushes or to the manhole."
