Brumby, this skin is actually an alteration of the official gray coloring. If you're creating a skin using official base, please use the coloring which is not represented among official or existing custom skins.

What do you guys think of my custom skin creation? It is a metallic puma with purple eyes as a glitch. I called it Cyber Tone.

Is it GIMP or MS PAINT compatible? Sorry, never colored bases before...

Anishka, if it's metallic, please make it look metallic :) Right now it looks like you've used level/curves and moved the blacks arrow to right.
stang824, our bases are not layered, they are simple PNGs. You can use GIMP to color them, it has all the necessary features to do this. MS Paint doesn't support transparency so we can't approve the skins made with its help.

May I suggest trying to use Paint.net? It's free. Personal preference is Paint.net over GIMP. It has a lot more options than GIMP and is like a simpler photoshop.
You can find it here: http://www.getpaint.net/download.html
I've never had any issues with it.
Also for those of you who don't know Photoshop CS2 was released by Adobe for free use. You can do a search and download it for free (and legally).
^I've been using this non-stop lately and love it :)
