Fire sighed and shook his head. He had to be hearing things... He turned and began to follow the others again.

Night Shadow padded carefully through the forest, one half of her mind on her suroundings and the other half debaiting what to do if she ran into these other fox's.

Suddenly her mind sprang into action as the half of her mind focused on the forest detected a rustling in the bushes, Quietly she crouched and her mind began to debate things like: How far away was the rustle coming from? How large was the rustle, and the animal that made it? And most importantly, whether the animal was a threat or not?

After quickly determining that the rustle came from exactly: 5 feet away from her, That the rustle was exactly 3 inches long, and that the creature that made the rustle was a mouse. She sprang and landed squarely on top of it and killed it with a swift bite to the neck.

Storm was padding through the forest when she heard a rustle. She walked forward. It was much to big for a mouse or rabbit... She sniffed the air. Fox! 

Night Shadow crouched low to the ground, munching on her mouse, Then as the half of her mind that was always working sprang she stood up slowy and perked her ears and took in the scent of fox coming her way. "Hmm, seems like it's about 20 yards away." she thought tasting the air "I have at least 1 minute to get away." she thought. Then sitting down she thought "I belive I'll wait for this fox to get here, Since I am in it's territory." Slowly she laid down and continued knawing at her mouse.

Storm crept closer and was soon there. She approached and spoke calmly "Hello there."

"Hello." Night Shadow said through a mouthfull of mouse, Then standing up she shook her fur and buried the bone's of her mouse.

"You do know you're on my pack's territory, don't you?" She wasn't really annoyed, just curious.

Night Shadow tilted her head in curiosity "Pack? wht pack?" she asked as she layed down in the sunlight.

"My pack. I take it you haven't seen the others?" Storm sat down.

Night Shadow shook her head, "Only you and two other's." she said as she stood up and stretched "And a young Mountain Lion Cub." Then snipping at a bit of herbs she gripped them in her jaws and pulled them up by the roots.

"There is seven of us, actually." She watched as the fox pulled at the herbs. "And what is your name?"

"My name is Night Shadow." she said "And you are?" she asked curiously.

"Storm." She nodded her head at Night Shadow. 

Night Shadow was slightly confused but then relised that this must be their way of greeting her, so she nodded her head in return. Then said "It's nice to meet you."
