Dragons take on their fathers color and same with cockatrices

Unicorn seem to take on their mothers color

Gryphons: I honestly don't know. I got random colors with gryphons and once got a random color with a roc.

Lykos seem to take a mix between both parents

Well, I have been able to get deviants with this theory. But also in general. I've only tried to get deviants 5 times. I only started to notice it when all my cockatrices got their fathers color.

well that's the thing, cuz each gene has a certain gene power. If the moms gene has a power of 40 and the dads had a power of 50, the dads will always come out since the power is greater.
