Hi! so im new, been playing about 2-3 days...i had a few questions...

- i already have 17 out of 20 pet slots full (lots of pregnancies from that desert building)....how do i decide which pets to keep and which to pound? I thought of checking out the genetics of all of them to think but it takes too much vermillion

-which reminds me, how do i decide which pets to spend vermillion on? any tips?

-I thought of buying stables lvl2 but i didnt see anyone offering it in item trades for now, same with barn for items i have placed a bid hopefully i atleast get a barn lol to help expand the inventory space :)

-when a pet is still in baby stage, is there something i need to do or just wait for the baby effect to get over?

-is there a post where i could read a bit more about genetics, i was confused whether one column is the dominant gene side and the other recessive gene side or is it that the attribute in bold is dominant and the other one is recessive?

-any other general tips? i have read a few of the player guides related posts too :)

My tips for deciding which pet to keep,

1. Look at the stats, alot of newbies have red stated pets so I suggest keep ur first pet, but purchase some cheep but all green and black stats

2. If it has a pink star, it is inbred and most likely has bad stats as well

3. If it has a green stars, most likely magnificet genes and stats

4. If its dev, I keep then regardless of stats

5: i pound my red stats or few green stats and all my degens, but thats bc i dont have SPSB, which is what i suggest

U can look in my sales tab and choose 4 pets (including my GP3 sales tab) and ill give them to u since u r new, none of them have degen or red stats

thanks ill take a look, i have space for only 3 pets though....so i was thinking of pounding some of my rocs to make space, i have a male, a female and their baby Sparola which has just grown up....i was thinking of not wasting vermillion on them and just choosing atleast one from them to pound....is it possible for you to take a look at my "to pound?" tab and give me some advice? :) also

- so green stats are better than black stats right?

-what does it mean when say an attribute like bite is red or if everything is black and hitpoints is red?

ill be looking to see how the other babies grow up and will pound them to make space if needed :)

oooh can i have the following (only if you dont get buyers for them :) )

- ur gp3 sales lykos which is a baby? :) i dont have any lykos :)

- Cherry the gryphon from ur pound tab :)

- ur nameless gryphon which is labelled as deviants of falcon? (red owl colour) :) in Deviants for sale tab

- Snowrider...or a random one of your choice :)  i leave the 4 th one up to you :) that is ofcourse provided i finish making space for a 4th one lol and no other pet of mine falls pregnant :D

id got some cool pets from the pound earlier too, one golden zebra striped unicorn and a black and white symurgh :D

question-> is it important to specialize? i personally like dragons, gryphons, unicorns, lykos and symurghs...do i need to focus on one and work on breeding or is it that at the start more imp to collect resources and upgrade buildings?

It's ok if you collect all and breed all of them, im a gryphon and ouma dev breeder and a lykos GP3 Breeder

out of all my random fertility building babies, i found only the symurgh one to have good stats so far. one of the rocs has 2 green and 2 red stats....i should aim for zero reds right? so i guess its better for me to pound those before moving on

is there a limit to how many times a pet can breed?

I usualy pound red stats, but sometimes i make exceptions of 3 red stats or less 

Yes, females have much less breeding points than males but there are ways to extend this

i had 4 kelpie liquors and was waiting to get a fifth one to exchange for an apparel and then.....i didny realize it was ending today :'(  :'( else i would have exchanged it for some vermillion and money :'(

i explored and explored and explored and finallllly got enough wood to make lvl2 warehouse thank god lol next i need to do that all over again to get stable lvl2 lol thankfully i had seen the island guides so was able to choose the right islands to get the materials i needed :)
