just asumtion. Look like there some (maybe 15)drop rate limit. after hit that limit you drop rate will get so low until next day.

I've just reached fifty eggs. I'm not sure how many islands I've been to thanks to a healthy stock of flow cards, but it's been a couple hundred at least. By far the best island is the Jungle, and on some islands I found eggs behind more than one monster. I do have a humber of Harvester Throdrama that have definitely helped things along as well. I started yesterday evening my time and now it's late afternoon the next day, and I've pretty much did nothing else aside from sleep and eat.

I promised myself I'd get five Hoppers this year, knowing that I probably wouldn't be able to do it but nothing ventured and all that. Right now I'm thinking that just the one is more than enough.

how could you even get five hoppers though? on the exchange station at the bottom it says you can only buy one hopper, and then you get another if you score in the top 50, that is two hoppers so... unless you're buying them from people i dont get it

Seems like once you get a handful of eggs, the rest drop easier. I've been exploring on tablet while doing other stuff (maybe one island every 5 min) and eggs are actually dropping now. Whereas before on comp I had trouble getting past just 5 new eggs...took something like 40 islands. With a start like that I almost didnt participate this year.

Since I want a second hopper I'm still collecting eggs, but if there is anything from the warlock that you want, let me know and we might be able to come to an agreement.

Out of ~17 islands - 1 colored egg... Who could ever say that I am lucky?? :( 

I've got my hopper! Pink one. I wanted lopped ears. Maybe next year (if beastkeeper still exist). Collecting eggs for next one :)

100 explores, 32 eggs. That's ~150 explores to get 50 eggs. Seems to be doable even without flash cards.

today i found less eggs, than yesterday :-/ that costs my mood to search on.

How was the ranking the last couple of years for Hoppers, do people in the last couple of days spend hundreds of eggs? What I mean is will I be set since I've spent 50 eggs, or do I need to grind a ton more to make sure I stay in the top 50? 

Most people get to fifty and get tired. I know I did. I'm not buying a hopper this year because I just don't use them.

So maybe getting to 55 is a good strategy.

FYI - I just found some eggs in the tundra, if you still have any pets exploring there.
