"I don't care if she's dead or not," Dion said in a menacin voic, "we're not leaving without her." 

Shiku and Aslan nodded their agreement, "One for all and all for one." They recited an old lion legend.

"Then take her with you." Storm grumbled.

Dion nodded. She passed the lion with a hateful look that could have burned through stone. She, Aslan, and Shiku lifted Arin onto their backs and slowly walked towards their pride. "We'll get you for this!" She called back at them.

Storm snorted, and he and Lightning padded back to camp with Spark following.

Upon the discovery that Arin was indeed not dead, her friends and sister put in the care of someone who could help her. They then went to stalk the lions that had hurt her. As the clan saying went, 'One who has shed the blood of another lion must then shed his own'. And that shedding of blood began with stalking.

Storm lazed in the warm noon sun. He yawned, showing his massive teeth.

Aslan had been assigned the lion who had not seemed to be in charge. Aslan yawned a bit himself when the other lion did. This lion was boring.

"Who were those lions? Why were they hurting you guys? Dis they hurt you? Do you know them?" Spark asked question after question.

Storm sighed."They're from DuskPride." He said, standing up."Want to practise fighting?"

Dion and Shiku looked at each other. Fighting, really? Did these lions fight in their spare time?

Lightning padded over to Storm."C'mon Storm! We don't need to practise all the time! Let's practise hunting with this little fella." He said, licking Spark on the head.

"Yeah! Yeah!" Spark bounced back and forth playfully.

Dion shook her head. Practice hunting? Why not do the real thing?

"Okay, are you fast enough to catch me?" Lightning said playfully, running off at a slow lope.

Shiku and Dion followed silently, watching their every move.
