Jinx froze as he watched Noble stalk towards Truth.

Noble lent over Truth, and hesitated for a second, then dug his teeth into her scruff. He let go."No dog helps her."

Jinx nodded along with the rest of his pack, but didn't take his eyes off the blood dripping down Truth's neck.

Truth stopped herself from yelping, but she couldnt help feeling a bit betrayed. Her breath was loose, so her lungs seemed to make up for all the breaths that she missed a moment before.

Truth stayed where she was until the rest of the pack was gone. Until after. She skunked off, her eyes wide open, her ears pricked just like when she went patrolling.

Jinx lay down, but didn't fall asleep.

Noble watched Truth, before laying down and covering his eyes with his paws. He didn't know what had gotten into him. He felt like he was turning into his father. His father killed any pack-dog who did wrong.

Jinx tried everything to get to sleep but nothing worked.

Noble stood up and padded out of his den, he walked around the forest to where there was a hill, and then a cliff. He padded up to the edge and looked over to the vast river far down below.

Faith awoke at Iggy's licks, but went back to sleep soon after.

She woke again to Noble calling everyone outside and met up with Rosette when they got there. Hearing the news, she looked over at the other wolf, a surprised expression on her face. Rosette glanced over at Faith, but looked straight back at her pack leader. Afterwords, Faith walked back to where Iggy was and said, "Rosette and I are going for a little walk. Want to come?"
