Rory heard a rustle in the tree above her. That couldn't be good. She did the smart thing, she ran away from it, but it seemed to follow her.
"CHASE!!! ARE YOU OUT THERE?"
The sound was literally on top of her, and Rory was just waiting for the second it was going to drop down.

This was usually when monsters realised they'd made a mistake and revealed their true form. This wasn't an exception. The white ball of fluff exploded and leaped at Rory.
