"Don't cry. We need to move. Use you walkie-talkie thing Chase." Faelin called. She extended a hand to help the girl up.

"Right!"Chase grabbed the walkie-talkie."Incoming, can you hear me?" Static was his only reply.

Faelin looked at the girl, oh well. She thought. She walked over and picked Rory up the best she could. "Let's go see the flying horses." She said to the girl.

Suddenly, there was a reply."Chase? Is that you?" "Roger!" Chase replied, signaling for the others to remain silent.

Faelin fell silent, she womdered if the guy's name was Roger, or if. Chase was using that police thing.

"Chase? Chase are you there?" The wakie-talkie then went back to static."Hello? Jack?" Chase called into the walkie-talkie.

Faelin watched Chase try to get the Walkie-talkie to work "Something must be blocking the signal." She said as the noise bacame static again.

Gretchen chewed her fingernails, something just didn't feel right...

Chase shrugged helplessly and tried one more time."Hello?"

Faelin grimaced, then an idea came to her. "We found this girl in the roof, or upstairs or whatever. The rest of them could be right under our noses."

Chase snapped his fingers."Good idea! Stay here, I'll call if I need help." He ran back inside and upstairs. Little did he see the creature lurking in the darkness.

"You have a point... That could be what's causing the static but... Something doesn't feel right about this..." Gretchen said worriedly.

Faelin nodded and set Rory down next to the girl on the floor. "What's your name again?"

Chase was knocked flat to the ground, and when he went to shout for help, a gag was stuffed in his mouth, he started kicking and struggling, then pain flared in his left temple, and the world dissapeared into blackness.

Hydrenaline shot through her as she heard a muffled cry for help, " Do you hear that?" Gretchen asked panicking before running in the direction Chase had set off on.
