"I was seven when my house burned down. I got to watch as it burned with my whole family in it, I can still hear the agonized screams of my mother, my father, and my baby sister Seraphina in my dreams. That fire burned for hours. We lived on the outskirts of town, people knew our house was on fire, and nobody came to put it out." Faelin said, just as menacingly, a strange fire burned in her eyes.

"I watched as my friennd was blinded, my half sister almost killed, with nothing I could do to help. I've been training for, what? Six years here? And yet thats still not good enough for Apollo. I have worked as hard as I can, yet the Gods don't care about us. I got stuck with a Hydra bite on my arm in a place where they leave you to die. I was KILLED!!" Chase pulled out his dagger.

"You weren't killed, because you're still here." Faelin said, eyeing the dagger.

Chase snorted."Only because I was given a cube of Ambrosia to help. Ask anyone here, they'll agree." He glared at her, the scar on his cheek gleamed a pale redish pink in the moonlight.

"No food brings anybody back from the dead, otherwise I wouldn't be here, I'd be sitting in a new house with my family! Don't tell me vitamns of any sort, or food of any sort, brings people back form the dead. I hav brains in my head Blondie, brains!" Faelin said, glaring right back at him, the fire in her eyes raging.

Chase stalked towards her and grabbed her shirt."It's a Godly food and it only works if you've just died." His eyes gleamed, waiting for her to challenge him."and don't call me 'Blondie', unless you want an arrow through you. Or I could just stab you now, save me the trouble of picking up my bow."

"No food brings people back from the dead, but why don't we try? Go ahead, kill me, then you can bring me back with your magical miracle food. If it doesn't work, then I'll finally be reunited with my family." Faelin said, staring the enraged boy straight in the eye.

"Okay." He replied."STOP!" Chiron called and dragged Chase away from Faelin."Hey!!" Chase yelled.

"You wouldn't have been able to kill me." Faelin said, "Besides," she said, her tone now sarcastic, "my greek godparent would have probably have done terrible things to you." 

Chase cursed and struggled out of Chirons grip."As if your Godly parent would even care about a runt, an outcast, an orphan like you!"

Faelin smiled, "Well, you might have some brains after all. Does Apollo care about you, Blondie? I heard you say something about him not being on your good side."

Chase stalked towards her again, ignoring Chiron. He grabbed her again.

"Going to kill me?" Faelin asked him, "Will you bring me back with you magical food?" She looked the blond boy straight in the eye, "If you kill me, remember that life isn't a video game, there's no restart button."

Chase glared at her, struggling with what he should do. He shoved her back."Get lost."

Faelin hit the wall and fell with a crash. She got up, brushed herself off, and did an elaborate bow. "Thanks for beating me up, we should do it again sometime." She said to the boy, she then turned to the centaur, "Considering you're half horse, you look sane. Which way to civilization?" She asked, eyeing him.
