After navigating around all of the beds, Faelin leaned up against the wall and surveyed the room. The door out was closed, and on the other side of the room. "Ah-ha!"she said, clapping her hands, "but that's exactly what insane people in an insane asylum would say. Therefore, this is most likely an insane asylum, and you're just denying it. The only thing that I'm wondering, is why I'm here with you." She said, surveying the room with a new light. "I'm not crazy."

Chase snorted."Then how come you're having such a hard time beleiving? You only have one parent around, right? Ever wondered what happened to the other? Ever wondered why they didn't come back?" 

Faelin's eyes narrowed to slits. In a cold voice, she said, "I have no parents."

"Aha!! Yes you do! And one of them is a God." Chase grabbed the longbow next to his bed."You guys get her to listen." And at that, he walked off, slinging his Quiver of arrows over his shoulder as he went.

Rory sighed. 

"Chase, would you come back here? Maybe bend some light or something if you can. We need some proof!!!"

"Already tried that! Obviously Apollo isn't on my good side!" He called over his shoulder and walked into the forest.

Rory groaned. She couldn't really do anything.... Except... Hmm... 

"Chiron, I would if I could, but could you go grab my sneakers from under my bed? I could really use them..."

"I told you, I have no parents. I'm an orphan. A pair of shoes isn't going to make me believe that gods and goddesses of old are real. I watched my house burn with my parents inside of it. They're dead, and dead, is dead." Faelin said, her voice quivering a little bit.

Chase stormed into the forest and nocked an arrow. He looked around for any signs of monster life..... There was a screech from behind him and an Ice Gryphon emerged, flying at him. He aimed and shot, the arrow thudded into the monster and it fell, but didn't dissintergrate."Good."

Faelin heard a screech outside, she recognized it as the screech of a monster. "Oh yes," she said, getting a little upset, " now the monsters follow me here, sorry crazy kid, but do you have any weapons? Chances are you don't, but I've had stranger requests granted in stranger places." 

Chase dragged the Gryphon to the cabin."This proof enough?" He flung it down.

"I didn't need proof to know that monsters were real." Faelin said. "How do you think I ended up with this?" She asked them, pulling up a tattered sleeve, revealing a long scar going for her shoulder to her elbow. " It was no freak accident."

Chase glared at her."You have no idea how hard life can get." He flung down his quiver and bow, then stalked out of the cabin.

"I don't know how hard life is, look at who you're talking to Blondie, I lived on the streets for six years. It may not be a competition, but beat that." Faelin said insultingly.

Chase turned around, his blue eyes glimmered menacingly. No one dared to push him over the line, but she had just done it."Ok, I will. I watched my mother be killed as my father stood there and watched, then I almost died trying to get here. A couple of weeks ago, I was stuck out in the middle of nowhere fataly injured. I died then came back."
