This is such a huge flaw that I'm pretty sure someone's mentioned it already, but I thought I'd bring it back up. 

Case in point: this exchange offer. The user has long since quit the game, and it is literally impossible to complete this offer. There's no point in it still being there. There are so many trades still sitting there from up to two years ago, made by players who have long since gone. And they're just going to keep stacking up and cluttering the exchange until some way is implemented to remove them. 

I'm thinking the maximum time frame should be longer than that for silver auctions since the trade requirements are more specific, maybe 60 days instead of 30, but that's just my idea. At any rate, the trades need to expire at some point.

Support.  I will also add the suggestion that a banned user's exchange offer should automatically vanish from the exchange list at the time that they are banned.

Yep. Those are used a secondary storage by some players, to circumvent the item storage limits. 

...sales are used in the same way, though. That's probably an another thing that should be fixed. If we have a storage limit, it shouldn't be possible to use such tricks to get around it.

Shhh! I quite like being able to circumvent the storage limits...
