The Dragon War has long since ended, and the dragonets of prophecy have all grown old, and a few of them have died as a result of their great age. But now, a completely different problem faces the dragons: the rise of giant chimeras. (https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1GnkFD6S1F4TlVLa2ZBek5FSTg)

Unfortunately, the force and numbers of the chimeras have driven the dragons to extinction - well, almost. The Talons of Peace - which had become a large organization that kept peace between the clans after the Dragon War - hid as many eggs as they could find. Seven of these eggs were hidden in a cave, a little like the one in which the five dragonets lived in. The caregiver of these eggs was a Mudwing named Moss, and she dubbed them the Gracewings. But one day, a chimera found them and attacked. Moss distracted him long enough that the dragonets could escape. They came back later and found Moss on the ground, bleeding very badly and close to death.

When she saw them, she lifted her head as much as she could and said, "Find the forest that is just east of here; in it is a large, hollow tree that was used as a hiding place for the Talons of Peace during the Dragon War. It should be safe for you there." Moss closed her eyes after this and laid her head back down. The seven dragonets stayed with her until her ragged breathing stopped, but they soon decided that they had better get started on their way before another chimera found them. After a few days of traveling, they made it to the tree.

If anyone wants to, they can draw their dragon's sleeping quarters in more detail(or I could if you want me to), but these were just really basic drawings to show the layout.

This sounds like a great idea, but I've never seen Wings of Fire. If you could explain enough, I think I'd like to join. Maybe not the whole thing, just the basics of what I need to know to join.

Wings of Fire is a book series about five dragonets who are part of a prophecy. The Sandwings' Queen died and she did not specify who her heir would be, so her three daughters started fighting about it. All of the dragon tribes/clans/whatever-you-call-ems split up and joined different sides. The prophecy is this:

"When the war has lasted twenty years...

the dragonets will come.

When the land is soaked in blood and tears...

the dragonets will come.

Find the SeaWing egg of deepest blue.

Wings of night will come to you.

The largest egg in mountain high

will bring to you the wings of sky.

For wings of earth, search through the mud

for an egg the color of dragon blood.

And hidden from the rival queens,

the SandWing egg awaits unseen.

Of three queens who blister and blze and burn,

two shall die and one shall learn

if she bows to a fate that is stronger and higher,

she'll have the power of wings of fire.

Five eggs to hatch on brightest night,

The Talons of Peace was a group that made sure the prophecy came true, but instead of a Skywing, they ended up with a Rainwing. So, basically, the five dragonets have to somehow find out which of the queens is best and also try to stop the war that is happening. Can you explain SandWings/SeaWings/etc? I'm assuming they stand for the different elements?

This website is not quite up to date, the Rainwings do have a natural attak/defence: they can shoot venom from their mouths that acts like acid on anything it comes in contact with(think of ice cream in the sun...).

They all live in different regions. Here is a map made by the author(and edited a little by fans) that shows about the areas in which the different dragons live:

Mudwings - live in a swampy/muddy area

Sandwings - live in a dessert

Rainwings - live in a tropical-type rainforest

Seawings - live in the sea

Skywings - live on the mountains

Nightwings - lived on a volcanic island in a different realm, a portal in a tree led from the volcano to the Rainwing's forest.(i think the Nightwings live in the rainforest now, but I haven't yet been able to read the last two books so I don't quite know about them exactly...)

Icewings - live somewhere really cold..(again, haven't read those books)

Description of Dragon: She always is a different color, she is a bit smaller than the average rainwing but uses that for stealth.

Description of dragon: She's a pale blue, almost white. Her eyes are a Sharp looking green, and don't match at all with her scales.

Personality: Really caring. As most mudwings, he is a clutz. He looks up to sandwings and anything that looks bigger than him. Oh, and he loves to eat bugs. Odd...

Personality: Terk is a huge goofball, and loves to play around. He knows when it's time to be serious, though, and is a very formidable enemy when he needs to be.

Personality: Clarissa is a very shy dragon, and doesn't really like to interact with others. When she is comfortable with everyone, though, she is the life of the party.
