How dose one get the pearls? I can't figuer it out, do they only come from the shell golem? Or can they be found in the world?

In the world it seems. I found a black pearl from a shell in the desert. My bet is they are like the roses. Different colors for different locations.
Desert: White Roses and Black Pearls
Grassland: Red Roses and ?
Jungle: Pink Roses and ?

You can find them anywhere where are shells except tundra I tried collecting pearls from there and haven't found any.

I've found white pearls in the jungle. Since someone else said that they've found pink ones there too, I think we can confirm that the pearl colors are not location specific like the roses are. They do, however, appear to be obscenely rare. :(
