Yea, newbie here. What am I supposed to do after all of my pets have lost their energy by battle/quest/exploring? Is there a way to restore their energy without premium costs or is there any games to play where you can make some cash? If it's going to just be an all premium thing, then I'm afraid I can only come here for a few mins before leaving & waiting for the next day.     

If you build a Sanctuary, it allows you to refill one pet's energy per day, but other than that you'll just have to wait. Of course, you can always get more pets from the Pound, Pet Trades, or giveaways by other users, so running out of energy won't be a problem for very long. (Just be sure to start looking for that Stable lvl 2 blueprint, because you run out of space fast.)

Also, pets take ten hours to refill energy completely, so you can come back later on the same day to use them more.

After building that sanctuary you can carry on with Astrologist, which can help you in looking for energy drinks. The more drinks the better; they are single-use items. Many items from the Premium shop can be found with astrologist's help; often spending gold is not necessary. 

You can sometimes even find expand stable scrolls for sale (although it's usually for a huge amount of silver, like 800k)

Get some beasts that will perform quests for you, and more than one, like pure black pumas with silent pace, pure white gryphons with gladiator, striped black dragons with fearsome look. Or if not, find similar beasts in the pound and breed the ones you need. There's plenty to keep you occupied in this game. And if you get bored, there's always the next event to look forward to :)
