I traded my Deviant puma, Oakwood (father of Ivorywind) for Nightstar's Deviant unicorn Purewish, but we both got nothing, although Oakwood's "profile" says that Nightstar is is keeper.....Please help!

Nevermind! I got the pet and I think Nightstar got it....is that right?
Could someone still explain why this happened and Purewish showed up with only 5 energy?..... : D

If they are the keeper of the pet, they have it in their stables. They can still give it away unless it has an effect(adoption, taming, etc).
As for why it had five energy, you probably used it's energy exploring/quests/crafting without realizing it. I do that all the time.

This happened when I tried to trade a pet with Firesword. I went to her parents' profile, clicked pet children, and then went that pet's profile. When I looked at effects, it said 'on train'. After a little while, we both got the pets but with lower energy. I would guess that is what happened with you. Did I help any?

Oh, training is when a pet is leveled by spending silver using the Ridinghall. Training takes energy..,I think...
I think training takes four hours. It automatically levels a pet.

Training doesn't cost any energy but pets won't gain energy either.

I think it's like transferring so it takes time?
I vaguely remember something happening like this in the beginning when you start off with a tutorial. I don't exactly remember though.

Happened to me once. Try going to the pet's profile and change the group/tab they are into. They should appear in the new group you send them.
