Where are the best places for the different catchers to look for their type of beast?

If you build a cartographer's guild, you will be able to see the locations of wild pets and better predict where they will move next :)

Ah okay. I just thought it's most likely that the Magic catcher should be in the Magic Glade, but I had no idea where the others were supposed to be xD

If you have Climbing Gear and Boat, then the Island, Old Ruins, and Climbing Gear require air travel. That means that only beasts with wings can get there. This doesn't include cockatrices, since they can't fly very high, similar to a chicken.
