Intro:

Almost every being in the world of Nevadeer has is special, because almost every person, at a certain age, goes to their Animal Ceremony. There, they are magically turned into a half human, werecreature, alien, whatever you wish to call it.

They become stronger, faster, and overall more powerful. Some use this for good. Others, for evil. Some pretend nothing happened. Most learn to use these powers, whether for good, or for evil.

You choose. Call it fate, call it destiny, but whatever you call it, it is real.

Basic Skills:

Survival: This skill enables you to remain relatively healthy in hostile environments. You can craft crude tools out of almost anything and you know how to make a shelter for yourself. You recognize the right plants to eat and how to prepare them in most cases.

Lore (Magic): You've studied the long-lost secrets of magic and its mechanisms. Although magic is just returning to the continent, you've always strived to get your hands on every scrap of paper that might have the smallest bit of information about it. Perhaps now that knowledge will be useful.

Lore (Cultural): You've studied the cultural nuances of the animal side of other half-humans. You speak at least the basic dialect of their languages. You know their social structure, laws, education system, and recreational habits to a degree.

Special Skills:

6th Sense: This skill may warn you of imminent danger and may reveal the use and purposes of strange and magical artifacts, or which way to turn at a crossroad. However, in certain situations you may be overwhelmed by your sensitivity to the surreal and unnatural, causing you to lose focus or Resolve.

Intuition: This skill will help you see through lies, understand true intentions and correctly guess the character of most basic people. It helps with most interpersonal skills. Unfortunately, some beings are simply beyond this skill's reach and may fool you yet.

Agility: This skill allows you to leap, twirl, spin, flip, balance, dodge and counter-strike with improved accuracy. It also increases your basic dexterity and can help in social situations, as you are extra graceful. Such a skill is unnatural among humans and may draw suspicion in certain situations.

Cities and Villiages

Brindale: Brindale is a small villiage mostly populated by cats, but accepts any other creature as well. Brindale is not currently ruled by any tribes.

Inhabitants- Kangee, Rayona

Rayburn: Rayburn is a large island city overrun with otters. Rayburn doesn't let any creature other than pure otters in. Rayburn is a city of the Podak Tribe.

Woodlands

Fendryr Forest- The Fendryr Forest is definetly the most peaceful of the others. Almost like a rainforest, it has a thin mist, except it doesn't rain much, so most assume the mist is magic.

Many different tribes live in the Fendryr Forest, so although it is a nice place to live, it is still safe to be cautious.

Veris Forest- The Veris Forest is a thick, dense mass of trees. There is almost no light under the trees, and the trees themselves compete for sunlight.

There is also competition under the trees, for the feircest tribes live in the Veris Forest. Most wars start here.

Riverden Woods- The Riverden Woods is a small woods, hardly more than a large cluster of trees. The trees are spread far, and much sunlight is allowed to pass through the trees.

The Riverden Woods are surprisingly inhabited by very few tribes, considering the calm. The tribes living here mainly focus on peace and conpromise.

Deserts

Gohapi Desert- The Gohapi Desert is the hottest place in Nevadeer. Although it is only slightly larger than the Riverden Woods, it is a treacherous journey to any who wishes to cross.

The only permanent creatures in the Gohapi desert are lizards, and idiots.

Tribes

Podak Tribe: A fearsome tribe of otters. They mainly focus on strength and stealth. The otters in the tribe are very sensitive when it comes to insults, and get offended easily.

Tactics- The Podak Tribe tends to stick to one tactic. They sneak up on the enemy, and strike hard and fast, then flee. They will do this as often as needed.

Leader- Korda: Korda is an albino female, and is very picky. To her, everything has to be done perfectly her way.

Yadai Tribe: The Yadai Tribe lives in the Fendryr Forest, and is a tribe for any in the cat family. Their tribe includes lions, leopards, tigers, jaguars, etc. Although their tribe members have diverse personalities, they are all wary of strangers.

Tactics- The Yadai Tribe doesn't have any set tactics, but they often use their strength and numbers to their advantage.

Leader- Zorba: Large, muscular lion with a large mane. Although tough in battle, he is kind and gentle around tribe members. Of course, he's still strict...

Personality:

Very loyal to anyone she meets, even if they are a complete stranger. She thinks she can do everything by herself and that she doesn't need any help. This is her greatest weakness as, obviously, she can't do everything herself.

History:

Her family used to live in the Veris Forest, but after almost being killed by fighting tribes, they decided to move to Brindale. Her parents loved solitude, though, so after her Animal Ceremony, they decided that she was old enough to handle herself and moved to the Gohapi Dessert. She still lives in Brindale, but travels to the Fendryr Forest often because she misses her old forest home. Once while wandering through the trees, she found a small clearing occupied only by a tall Cedar tree. She loves to go there at night so she can look up and sing to the moon.

Other:

She loves to sing and read, and likes to climb all the way to the top of trees and look out at the view.

Quickness: This skill improves your speed, reflexes, sprinting, sleight-of-hand and a handful of other abilities. As you are able to move faster, you are also able to think fast enough to handle that movement. Still, being fast takes extra energy, and your ability to outrun someone may not last long.
