Faelin walked all the way back into an alley in town. She went inside the very small house made of cardboard boxes that she had made for herself, and grabbed a baggie of chicken strips she had gotten at a restaurant a few nights back. She ate one, then went out again, on her way to the park.

Chase jogged with Shiver down to the dog park, he opened the gate and Shiver ran in, sniffing everything.

Faelin saw Chase and his dog, "Hey, Chase!" She said jogging over, "I didn't think I'd see you so soon."

Chase laughed."Hey! Neither," Shiver ran up to the fence, trying to get to Faolin.

Faelin squatted down so that she was eye level with the dog who was trying to get through the fence. "Just wait a moment Shiver, I'll be in in a minute." She then looked around for an entrance. When she didn't see one, she climbed the fence. "Hi Shiver." She said to the dog.

Shiver's tail went haywire, wagging so fast it was a silver-grey blurr. Chase laughed.

Faelin laughed as well, and rubbed the dog behind his ears. 

Shiver lay down and rolled onto his back, exposing his stomach.

Faelin laughed but didn't rub his belly. "Is he always this friendly?" She asked Chase.

Chase thought for a second."To some people, not many though."

Faelin smiled at this answer. She then crouched down and began rubbing th dog's belly.

Shiver went limp, but his tail contimued wagging. Chase laughed."Wow, he really likes you."

"Well, I like him." Faelinsaid, rubbing the dog's belly more intensely.

Chase grinned as shiver licked Faelin's hand.

Faelin chuckled a bit as the dog licked her hand. She rose and faced Chase. She wasn't really sure what to say. So she just grinned and petted Shiver's head.
