Faelin watched a dog run after birds, the dog didn't catch any. She sighed, she wished that she could have a dog, but she couldn't afford it. She couldn't afford anything anymore since she had been orphaned.

Tucker turned and started trotting back to where his master stood, when he smelt sadness(Yes, dogs can smell emotions). He turned and saw a girl master standing alone. He padded up to her.
Chase watched Tucker chase the birds."Eh, he'll never catch one." He said, grinning at Starling.

Faelin smiled as the dog trotted up to her. She let the dog sniff her hand, then she caressed the soft fur on the top of his head.

Faelin smiled even broader as the dog licked her hand. She squatted down so that she was eye level with the dog. She ruffled his hair.
