My squad Ancient War (on mirror) is currently on the crimson tree and got attacked just a few minutes ago:

I did not receive a liquid vermillion in return for winning that battle. I currently have two.

Defend one of the Vermillion zones on the Battlefield (The Crimson Tree, The Ancient Battlefield and The Old Mine) for 10 hours to collect liquid Vermillion. You may collect up to 3 bottles per 10 hours, one bottle for every won battle.

Last year I remember getting liqverm for repulsing an attack but it does not seem to be working this year.

I forget when the event started today, but here is my battlefield logs for the day if more liqverm happens to me missing. Large spaces is where I erased non-related reports. I also erased the weakening discipline. And reports from the squad not on a vermillion spot.

Devil's Advocate is on ancient battlefield at homeworld.

Ancient War is on the crimson tree in the mirror world.

Edits:

Devil's Advocate also just got attacked (homeworld squad) and I did not get a liqvirm. Currently they just come from holding for ten hours, but the description says I also get them from wins and I remember that from last year. Has this changed or am I forgetting something?

Liquid Vermillion is credited when the 10-hour cycle ends, not immediately after attack. You can also see it in the logs that you posted. The event started approximately at 17:00 server time, so Liquid Vermillion was provided only for battles after the start of event.
