Could someone explain how to breed deviant pets? I read the guide but it said "this pet + this pet = this pet" and I've found that's not actually the case. I'm assuming some of those genes + parents have something to do with the outcome.

For example, I really like the puma deviants (the ones that look like household cats). I've been breeding pumas a bit to see what comes out. I read a thread last night where someone was saying something about double genes? Or two colour genes that are the same making a deviant pet? But I didn't understand it completely.

I feel kind of stupid asking this haha. I'm sure once you have the hang of it it's not actually as difficult as it looks to me right now.

Basically, in order to get a deviant, you have to do a few things.

The kid has to be homozygous in the color/pattern. So if you were trying to breed a household cat seal siamese, the baby would need to have both dominant and recessive Graying Modifier.

From there, you need luck. Each kid(if they are homozygous) gets a 1/10 chance of being deviant. Trust me, it's hard!

But if you keep trying, eventually you'll get it!
