Theres another way to speed it up by having twins instead of just one offspring, saving a full gestation period, 24 hours, that way. Symurghs can have twins if they have the fertility gene. Pink fish eggs can make any species give twins but it works once per egg. Those can be purchased from players or during special events that pop up once in a while.
