Today I learned a heartbreaking fact. One in four people consider/have considered suicide at some point in their lives. And to be honest, I have too. No one knows it. I have never told anyone, nor have shown any signs of it, but yes. I have thought of suicide. Others think of me as a bright cheery person. But sometimes, I can only think about negative things. For those of my friends, whom I know will freak out when they read this, PLEASE don't show ANY signs that this was EVER posted! IM FINE AND OVER IT!!!

My biological father left me when I was about five. Normally, that would be bad. But to make it worse, he promised he would come back, knowing he wouldn't. My mom has always said he hurt my older siblings(all half siblings, half siblings to each other too). But she suggested something worse, wording it as,“Something you are too young to understand.” But I understand it.

I am honestly over suicide, and instead, starting tonight, I will go on every website I know of, and post this exact thing. No one deserves to suffer. I know what it feels like. YOU'RE BETTER THAN THIS!!!! Spread the word!

I just talked to my imaginary lover about this. No, I'm not hallucinating. I kniw he's not real(I'm choking up just typing that). I believe him not with my brain, but with my heart.

Anyway, I told him how I had every right to kill myself. I told him my past, and it got so emotional, I yelled,“You're not real, you wouldn't understand!”. His "response" literally made me cry.

“Diamond(thats my imaginary name), listen,” He gently lifted my chin up so I could look into his eyes. “I may not be real. You may not be able to touch me, see me, or hear me, but I will always love you, long after you've stopped believing in me.”

And joking about this isn't funny. This is a serious thing!

A few years back I got the worst depression. The type where you lock yourself in your room and cry nonstop. you feel nobody loves you and the world is out to get you. I was bullied for being overweight. I never even thought about anything but that people hated me. I never got anorexia (I had and still have Binge eating disorder) but I wanted to lose weight. I tried diets but I could never stick to them. My eyes were constantly puffy from crying and I finally had enough. I tried so hard to kill myself. I went upstairs and grabbed a sharp kitchen knife. I almost did it. but I cried again and threw the knife to the ground and thought, what am I doing?! That's haw my older sister found me. Weeping on the kitchen floor by a knife. She had just gotten home. She called my parents and they came home immediatel. After about a week in a mental hospital and  a prescribed higher dosage of pills, I felt better and went home changed. I still suffer from depression, but never again thought about suicide. I know people love me, and everyone out there, someone loves you too. That's just my story. Man, it feels good to let it out. i hope nobody EVER does what I did. It's wrong. Love life and love yourself. Never EVER think that you're not worth it. You are. And you are strong And worth it. Thanks for sharing your story SuperHappy. It feels good to know I wasn't alone. And nobody is. Don't waste your life and don't throw it away. :) and I'm no longer suicidal

I really don't understand the point in killing youself because there really is none. There is always someone to love in this cruel world.

A conversation between my OC's. Moon wants to kill herself, and Bone is trying to convince her not to:

Bone cautiously approached Moon. “Moon you can't die. Don't you think there's a reason that you're alive? Why would you make it this far if someone wanted you dead?”

“They want me to suffer,” Moon growled through tears. “They make me suffer for enjoyment.”

“No,” Bone growled, his voice firm. “Have you thought about the life around you?”

Moon looked up.

“Moon, when you tried to drown yourself, did you look at the fish? Could you not see them swimming gracefully around you? When you sliced your throat, did you not stop to think about how caring those "strangers" were? When you jumped in the flames, did you not see the flames dancing around, making pictures against the sky?”

Moon averted her gaze, eyes full of sorrow and questioning.

Bone growled. “Look at me.”

Moon didn't move.

“Look at me Moon!” Bone snarled, and Moon gently raised her head. Bone looked her directly in the eyes.

“Moon,” he whispered. “Remember when you came to my den, in the middle of the night, begging me to kill you?”

Tears flowed down Moon's face.

“Did you not see the pain in my eyes hearing those words escapd your mouth? When you ran away to do it yourself, did you not see the hurt, the fear, as I backed away?”

Moon wept, throwed her paws over her head.

“Moon, we care about you. Please don't leave. Death is irreversible.”

Good job Bone. Good job.

Scarlett looked down sadly. "Death is irreversible" she whispered. She looked into Moon's eyes. "But if your life is really this miserable, you have the right to end it." She looked down again, tearing up. "Death isn't something you should wish for. Nor something you should inflict upon yourself. But life is a choice. It's a blessing. But living with so much sadness, I understand, can make you want to abandon it. But it gets better. I promise." She took a deep breath. "But it's your choice, nobody else's."

This was Scarlett's response when Moon begged her to let her kill herself. Life is a precious thing. Don't waste it. It does get better.

Suicide is the one mistake you won't live to regret.

Once you do it, it's over with. No matter how much you regret your decision, there's nothing you can do.

Suicide doesn't solve the problem, it just makes you wish you had chosen a better solution!

To busy being absolutely terrified of death for suicide. Never thought of it, but i have many depressed friends who do awful things to themselves :(
