Is any downside to being kicked off an island (aside from the obvious of being sent back)? Just want to be sure there aren

Nope, you get kicked of the island if you lose all energy(below zero) or you lost to a beast temple guardian. Bur no, I don't believe there is aby other downside

Depends, if you get kicked off before exploring the island fully, you'll miss out on resources, otherwise, it's just the energy lost.

Oh wow, typing on my phone really destroyed my post, lol. Anyhow, thank you for the info! I thought that was how it worked, but then started getting paranoid that I might be losing resources by letting my poor little pets attempt to fight. Good to know that's not the case!
